Anonymous, 07 Feb 2010Have Nexus One HTC OS 2.1 for about a month now and my phone never crashed or had any problem.... moreif the X10 and nexus one were equal with each other, you were right!!
BUT fortunately it's not! x10 is far away in front of nexus one, and producing something that big will take time. so stick with your own phone and don't speak about something that you don't know everything about it.
Mobilemaster, 06 Feb 2010This has 65K colours now. If you will upgrade to a newer version the phone will have 65K colou... morehi mate. i want you to know this firs that i'm so grateful for all the useful information that you gave us about X10 and i realy mean it:)
now...are you sure about it, that with 1.6 the screen will made with 65K color or you just Surmise? i want to finish the discussion about this thing!
think about the android 1.6 as a filter in front of the 16m color that comes from the hardware...and only 65k color can pass this filter and if you can change this filter to the one that can pass 16m color through itself, you will be able to see all 16m color!
so...what's wrong with this idea? :)
chenmartin, 06 Feb 2010May God always Bless U bro.:)/Thanks mate, same to you :)
Mobilemaster, 06 Feb 2010This has 65K colours now. If you will upgrade to a newer version the phone will have 65K colou... more16m. with android 2.0/2.1
I may regret asking this question cause of how unknowlegeable i am on Android.
.Whats put me off Android is poor multimedia features,,music/cam/video..My question it seems the x10 solves this but is it due too htc etc making poor fones OR Android is the limiting factor??So have the poor no equaliser poor video caused by Androids limits or its Android can cope with good frame rate and equalisers it the manufactuer/proccessor/ram that the limiting factor ..
Obviously going to read more up on Android or buy a second hand unit to try out but if its capabilities are stumped by its O/S then there is no point carrying on if you know what i mean..Thanks..
Anonymous, 06 Feb 2010Please bro, please.
Sony never mentiones that X10 stuck in 1.6, but it will be upgrade. It ... moreDon't worry, buddy... I exactly know the whole words about X10 in developer.sonyericsson.com. I'd just wanted to make the master proud of himself...ha ha.

1.6 or 2.0 I still LOVE this phone! Damn! That stylish sleek design and such flashy interface is awesome!! I read a LOT of reviews saying the User Experience of this phone is by far the best! So I'm so gonna totally wait for this baby! That nexus is cr*p! Its interface is boring and I'm sure you guys will regret buying it instead of waiting for this baby. Who knows, this could be released this month or next month.... But as for me, this is totally worth it! Especially with that design!
To my friend mobilemaster.
X10 will be launch in 1.6. I also have got the same answer from SE developers, whether you like or not.
If you prefer 2.1, then you know what will you do.
You can get it from Nexus One.
That's the fact bro.
Anonymous, 07 Feb 2010Have Nexus One HTC OS 2.1 for about a month now and my phone never crashed or had any problem.... moreYeah yeah bro.
You just can talk about bla bla. bla.
But i am still with the fastest phone. Even only 1.6
That's the point of smarthphone.
Ok, I quote article from this site
Sony Ericsson have confirmed that the Xperia X10 will eventually be updated to a newer version of Android at some point of time after its launch
Mobilemaster, 06 Feb 2010This has 65K colours now. If you will upgrade to a newer version the phone will have 65K colou... moreThe X10 has a capacitive screen that support 16 million colours but the software in this case V1.6 Donut do not support 16 million colours. So once upgraded to the 2.0 or 2.1 the software will support 16 millions colours and then the screen will show 16 million colours.
chenmartin, 06 Feb 2010Like i said before, I prefer 1.6 with minor or no issues software then 2.0 with many issues.
... moreHave Nexus One HTC OS 2.1 for about a month now and my phone never crashed or had any problem. Google just few days ago too upgrade the software directly to my phone which took only about few minutes.
I think SE was just cut surprise when Os 2.1 become available so fast before Xperia X10 come out or say as always SE is behind in introducing their phone as they have been with many of their smart phone.
You guys have to admit SE are not fast enough to introduce their products in market and go on to start using other many good brand phone out there.
X10 will get multitouch after 4 to 5 months of its release date.Don t ask me how i know that, but believe i know
how do you mean it will get multitouch after 4 to 5 months???
Hantu, 06 Feb 2010I concur with mobilemaster-san. That is true, why stick with 1.6, if the higher available. Lea... morePlease bro, please.
Sony never mentiones that X10 stuck in 1.6, but it will be upgrade. It just start with 1.6.
It need more time to be release, becuase synchronize from 1.6 to 2.0 o 2.1 isn'r easy.
IT WILL BE UPGRADE, AND SE HAS CONFIRMED IT OFFICIALLY.
Mobilemaster, 06 Feb 2010Maybe the phone will come out with Android 2.0, and will be upgradable to 2.1! I don't really ... moreLike i said before, I prefer 1.6 with minor or no issues software then 2.0 with many issues.
I didn't say that i hate 2.0 or 2.1.
But 2.1 is still premature.
The only choice is 2.0.
But i m afraid it will make the system crush, especially with time/ media scape.
Beside,, SE has closed the lack of 1,6 with NeXus UI.
Aspen has 16 M color of touchscreen as a matter of fact but WinMo 6.5.3 will restrict the screen down to 65 k effective.
Same thing happen with android 1.5 and 1.6. Unfortunatelly SE officially stated that X10 has 65 k screen and Aspen has 16 M color. Again, Mobilemasster is correct.
Mobilemaster, 06 Feb 2010This has 65K colours now. If you will upgrade to a newer version the phone will have 65K colou... moreNo mate as far as I know the android 1.6 is limited to 65 not the phone . The hardware is capable of doing it . Just check the developers link I gave in the previous post . They have clearly stated that it will support . Cheers !!!
Roshan J Thaliath, 06 Feb 2010I mate I think the hardware can support more colors ....This has 65K colours now. If you will upgrade to a newer version the phone will have 65K colours, it is NOT possible to be more if you will upgrade your phone, coz was made with 65K of...
