So if you want to back up your installers only, use ES File Explorer from the market... it allows you to backup your .apk files in case you need to install them again! Hope this helps :D

noy, 04 Apr 2011can anyone tell me how to upgrade xperia-x10 from 2.1 to 2.3 ?2.3 (Gingerbread) is not available yet. Hence, it will be available by end of June or early July this year. On updating, you need to go to SE site to get the update using PC Companion (very simple and it's very straight forward).
KanvinX10, 04 Apr 2011hey. guys hope 2.3 gingerbread will give us 1. better battery life 2. better background dat... moreI hope so, but why SE could not implement the 16M colors since X10 hardware is capable to handle 16M colors? Aside from you have mentioned, I wish SE can fix also the in-call volume which is very, very low.
I love this phone however, just wished the battery life was good....i have to charge my phone daily....that cant be right....
This is the best phone I've ever had! It has a sleek and very elegant design and it runs an Android OS that is so amazing! (way better than iOS)! very satisfied with it.. worth every penny.. it's like having a brand new phone on a daily basis! (if you know how to utilize the android os, you definitely know what I'm talking about!) :)
Xperia Arc retails here in PH at almost 30k ($690) while the Xperia Neo at almost 24k ($554). With that price, better stick with the X10 since it will be updated to 2.3.3 anyway & hardware wise, the X10 is no slouch compared with the current Xperia models.
wreck, 03 Apr 2011x10 the real rocker..........
dont buy n8 for its camera.
its just a 9mp camera interpolat... moren8 sucks I have seen it.. se x10 always standup againsr n8... or even e7 for that matter...
hey. guys hope 2.3 gingerbread will give us
1. better battery life
2. better background data usage
3. no task killer required hope wen I press back button. app wil automaticaly close.
4. better internet speed with java
More awesome news coming for us X10 users as bootloader gets cracked (www.xperiax10.net)!;D
Best bang for your buck! It's worth every dollar I spent for my luster white X10(rooted &JITed), with android 2.3.3 coming soon to this phone, it's gonna worth every penny of it's $470 price tag I shelled out 6 months ago.;D
Gainward, 03 Apr 2011http://blogs.sonyericsson.com/products/category/xperia-x10/ hi guys!,, i have this phone! ... moreit may not be like that.. they used the words "currently" that means its not set in stone yet
hi guys!,, i have this phone!
cool but with 2.3.3 gingerbread?
why SE remove this!
=> The current plan is that the XperiaTM X10 will get the Android standard Camera user interface and therefore features like e.g. face recognition, smile shutter etc will be lost.?? so sad with that!
Fdespotovski, 31 Mar 2011You can't get 16 million colors if the screen doesn't support more than 65k colors. It's the sc... morethe screen of this phone can support 16 million, it was just on 65K due to the fact that Donut and Eclair couldnt support the 16million colours
