will get all new android version 2.1 2.3.3 etc so buy and enjoy the best
Well , I would call it one hell of a surprise from
Sony Ericsson . Company just announced that
Xperia X 10 will get Android 2 .3 aka Gingerbread
update in the end of Q 2 or Q 3 start . It is
certainly a great news for Xperia X 10 owners,
who were sulking till now . The update release
will be based on Android 2 . 3 . 3 .
Sony Ericsson had earlier announced that
company has no intentions to provide any
further Android updates for the Xperia X 10 , but
today ’ s announcement is certainly a welcome
According to SE on its product Blog :
We plan to bring an upgrade to Android
Gingerbread for the XperiaTM X 10 to generic
trade kits end Q 2 / early Q 3 this year .
The unlocked devices will be the first to receive
the Gingerbread update , but operator version
can also get lucky, but that is not for sure .
Limited Changelog :
The current plan is that the Xperia X10 will get
the Android standard Camera user interface and
therefore features like e .g . face recognition ,
smile shutter etc will be lost .
Moxier is replaced by the gingerbread native EAS
Mediascape is being replaced by the media
experience widgets and music player included in
our new 2011 products .
DRM keys for protected content on your phone
will be lost in the upgrade process.
The Sony Ericsson Backup and Restore client is
not supported in the Gingerbread version and
will therefore be lost .
Support for bi- directional languages will be
reduced compared to the latest version of the
2 . 1 version of the Xperia X 10 .
The update will be available via the Sony
Ericsson update tool , not over the air , and at last
Xperia X 10 mini , mini pro and Xperia X 8 will not
be getting Gingerbread updates.

On experia there are 4 types of facebook pages. The first is the facebook application on the mobile. The second would be touch.facebook which alters webpages to make the suitable for touchscreen usage, the thrid is m.facebook which is the standard mobile website for facebook. finally you also have complete facebook page (as on pc) which you can zoom to use. with the massive screen such as this either one is just as good

Hi guys. I want a new phone and this one is pretty cheap. Don't need cutting edge, but would this phone easily last me a few years feature-wise?

lysa, 24 Mar 2011i want to buy x10 but im curious bout, when we browsing, its a mobile view or pc view? I hope... moreIt's mobile view, cause it's depend on the android browsers, but you can download and use Opera to get the PC view instead.

Anonymous, 24 Mar 2011I want flash support. What can I do? I dont know about true flash support, but there is a way to see flash videos online through the Skyfire browser. Unfortunately the latest version is not available in the market (for some unknown reason this phone doesn't seem to support it). But you can still get the 2.xx version as far as I know. Also side note, when you use Skyfire this phone still opens the default browser (again for no apparent reason because you can close the default browser with no repercussion using task killer). For this reason I only use Skyfire when I want to watch video online, which Skyfire supports for MOST sites.

I hope... moreSome sites automatically send you to their "mobile" version when you first browse their site, you can usually switch to "full site" mode (usually found at the bottom of their page). This is true for most mobile browsing.
