Aside from dual touch features, there are additional apps that were included in the MT update (NeoReader, Postcard, Support...etc), thumb zooming in mediascape pictures, minor changes in mediascape & timescape, additional language support such as thai, arabic, farsi, hebrew...etc. Pattern lock becomes transparent.

All 2.1 firmware versions are 2.1-update1 including this MT update, what differs is the baseband version & build number which are 2.1.54 & 2.1.A.0.435 respectively on the MT update.

Kevin, 06 Feb 2011Have any of you guys notice that the new multitouch firmware lower the music quality playback ... moreNope, haven't noticed any drop in music playback quality & battery performance after the MT update, I just tried the new firmware (with task manager installed) today using CardioTrainer Pro for my workout which lasted for 1hr & 20 mins with both gps & Bluetooth turned on & the integrated music player playing through my paired MW600. The music quality is the same & battery power was just reduced by 8% after 1hr & 20mins. Probably just 4% battery consumption if gps & bluetooth were turned off.

Q: i leave my x10 on standby for around 7hr plus n it eats up 30% of the phone's batt. . . is that normal?
Have any of you guys notice that the new multitouch firmware lower the music quality playback and shortened the battery life.
Question, since SE said they will never/not provide x10 any more Android OS updates, are they going to update it for more improvements? I know DualTouch is already out, but what about 16m color for the screen? the hardware is capable but the software isn't. Speed and stability improvements? OR are they going to completely forget this phone?
