but to me i saw an x10 mini on youtube running htc ui i wonder if the same port would work on the x10 but 2.2 or higher.
Roar..., 08 Jan 2011Answer: AniPet Aquarium...ok cool i think i know that one, i will make sure to download that one next week because you sound like a active user roar. i already downloaded also a stuff. and well i also won't need that camera again because the x10 does a great job here too. so all in all great phone from sony ericsson even if they have turned out a bit disappointed but this is a great phone.

did they learn their lessons with the 3.5mm headphone jack? no.
Did they learn that the satio was already doomed with symbian? no, they made the vivaz.
Did they learn that in their range of camera phones, people wanted good quality video recording? no.
the last good phone they made was the k800. that was a great handset, and excellent value too.

Have you noticed that they made Timescape as a separate application and not embedded one. Did you know that they have ditched the Mediascape because they learned that embedding their own apps on Android means more coding jobs for them, hence delayed update. Did you know that during that time there was a CEO change in SE and after that they start making profit again?

Even though Android apps are not as plentiful as iPhone apps, this phone is perfect for anyone, especially post-20-something users. It's stylish; its screen size is 0.5" larger than iPhone 4, battery is easily replaceable, and with excellent picture/video quality. It should compete well with iPhone 4.
ok x10 users you all seen sad because of x10 being stuck on 2.1. come on you still have a great device and it still could be that sony ericsson is just pulling our legs. and the updates that are coming out for it should be great ;-) so question: what is your favorite live wallpaper on the x10?

the x10 is a joke. it's an embarrassment to the android range. no multi-touch? android 2.1? LCD screen?
if youre going to buy a phone, get the nexus s which will get updated constantly, or an HTC who can be trusted, or a samsung which has fantastic hardware

My suggestion is go for devices that has 2.2 or beyond.
At least APP2SD.
Better yet, don't even buy the ARC. The same thing is just going to happen all over again with a delay update for 3.0 and beyond and again we're all going to turn out to be the perfect experiment for Sony Ericsson.
