Can we use the MT in images or it only applicable in web and google map?
im Sri lanken....ican't udate my X10 to 2.1....massage comes No updates...found...u have latest update...what can i do 4 this?
[deleted post]If you prefer WinMo then go for HD2, if you like android better, then choose X10, for me, android is the future, hence I chose X10.:-)
Just upgraded my X10 to 2.1 AnOS, not difficult if you know how or use SE update service or using firmware flash tool with the latest ROM.
After one week's heavy use, can see the following obvious improvements:
1.Faster response on OS and features
2.Better functionality inherited from 2.1 AnOS
3.Better battery performance
4.Improved sound quality
Still haven't got multi-touch and 2.2 ROM.
As I am not SE fanboy, using X10 just because its best camera effect, good battery performance (very important to me), large touch screen and stable OS.
I don't really concern about if SE will provide MT on X10 but I hope they can enhance camera LED flash feature so it makes frequent camera user can deal with picture snapping with weak light.
If X10 can run on 2.2 ROM or latest AnOS version, that is a good news and get me stay on X10 next year.
X10 runs a deeply-customized AnOS ROM so it provides SE style mobile technology, like Timescape and Mediascape. whereas it makes 3rd developers hardly turn it to a different handset for different user. X10 has some potential on it hardware and design, it has better future if SE can open their arm to hug AnOS market.
alaa, 17 Nov 2010is the android 2.1 supports arabic language
Arabic language will be included with the next update and with multi touch as well.
Mobilemaster, 17 Nov 2010Finally they changed their mind. :DYes man finally, this is indeed great news for x10 owners :)
although it may not be a deal breaker, but it's still nice to have. And you know what's funny is that you had a feeling all along that the X10 will get MT, and they finally did.
I guess your a true mobilemaster ;)
As I was talking about a few days ago, Multi Touch is being worked on.
Anonymous, 17 Nov 2010the nexus one multitouch is no difference than this
Actually you may be surprised to know that the X10's mt will even be better than the nexus one!
Also with 2.1 android the X10 scored higher in benchmarking than the nexus s with froyo. It seems x10 is a real winner with very strong potentials.
Finally sony ericsson have listened to their customers and will enable multi touch in the next update, really great news !
Enjoy X10 users ;)
Roar..., 17 Nov 2010Multitouch -> It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it...
Yes I understand dude, but I'm sure you agree that this will make a lot of x10 users happy, specially the ones that need it :)
So overall, great news. What matters for me is that SE is listening to their customers and this is indeed a good thing. Because it rises the chance that the X10 will also be upgraded to Froyo next year.
i have a problem with my x10. I can browse websites but i can't access android market or the other widgets that require connection. I can only access facebook through the browser but not through the widget. Everytime i try to register/create my google account it gives me an error that my connection is unstable etc....Alrerady updated to 2.1, already did a hard reset--still the same error.anyone please help me.
This phone will have multitouch next update,
And the price will fall down after releasing the X12.
This phone is the best ...
SE woke up.Give it the presure to update the phone till at least android 3 or else it'll be unacceptable from a top mnufacturer. It is it's best phone and If I had x10 I would complain them for the firmware...
SE 2010, 17 Nov 2010congratulations dude! This is indeed great news for X10 owners, specially users who reAlly wan... moreMultitouch -> It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it...
Personally, I don't need it and I don't care much about it...
rene, 17 Nov 2010still can't upgrade to 2.1 version..huhuhuhu..can't wait..from PHILIPPINES here..Check this site (http://blogs.sonyericsson.com/products/) and look if your kit is included in the roll out. To do so, Check your Sales Item (SI)number printed on the label on the back of your phone or on the box. This Sales Item number should consist of 4 digits, a dash and then 4 digits more. there could also be a .X (eg. SI XXXX-XXXX.X) & look if its listed there.
