They are slow, Android has many MT phones on the market.
Symbian 4 is coming next year, and as I read somewhere, that will be a very good Android competitor.
Phoenix, 29 Sep 2010lol hi mate, as you know i have tens of ips ;)
yeah, i hope they come with something worthy. :)You have many Ips, and how can I know who is the real you? Maybe somebody will come here with your name... You will tell me your real name then. :D
And don't forget to tell me when you will buy the X10. :)
Mobilemaster, 29 Sep 2010I know that. But they are still a member of Symbian foundation. :)so what. they have to refresh their cameraphone lineup and the next flagship will therefore have android. symbian is a no go anymore

The successor of the X10 will be announced, and the successor of the X2, with Windows Phone 7, 1.2 GHZ CPU.
Products that SE will announce next month:
- Play station phone with 1.2 Ghz procesor and new GPU from PowerVR and Android 3.0
- 12 Mp Android succesor of Satio
- Android 3.0 tablet (possibly a dual screen sliding form)
A quick look at the SE Xperia X10 for those who are new to this phone. It's my review guys coz I had this phone for about a month, but sold it as it was unsuitable for me.
--The first thing that catches our eyes is the nice and sleek design.
-- TFT capacitive touch screen at 4 inches - 854×480 pixels. No Amoled or Super Amoled screen. Only shows 65k color, but it'll show 16m color after OS update because the hardware is capable of showing 16M colors. For now it’s limited by android 1.6.
--Unique and beautiful UI! The Mediascape and Timescape (performance has got better after the latest firmware update) Although IMO, its very slow.
--An excellent 8MP camera that is FULL featured, autofocus, LED flash Light Only (but it remains photo light as it CANNOT be updated to a LED flash), touch focus, image stabilization, geo-tagging, face and smile detection (it can recognize up to 5 face to save their picture between previous taken pictures from those people or under their contacts), with WVGA at 30fps video recording. SE has said that after an OS update it'll be an HD recorder.
--Standard 3.5mm audio jack & micro USB port and 8GB memory card included, officially supports 16GB but 32GB memory has been successfully tested on it.
--384mb of RAM and the 1 GHz Snapdragon processor. But can Never be upgraded to Android 3.0 as 500mb of RAM is needed.
--Android 1.6 only. but it's got SE custom UI (for example it can transfer files via Bluetooth unlike so many phones with 1.6!) and it'll get android 2.1 plus with UXP upgrade in Q4 2010 (October/November/December). It should support flash too! And the greater news is that SE has promised to update the X10 through its life time!
--And the build quality is good. It really feels great and comfortable in hand.
AND, of course no phone is perfect and this phone lacks some items also:
--No front camera, so true video calls is impossible. But one way video calling is possible by using Fring by using the main camera (it’s not cool at all IMO)
--No multi touch and can NEVER have multitouch (SE is working for an alternative and we know that it has “1 finger zoom” feature)
--No build in radio(on the other hand it has the external Bluetooth MW600 with radio and brilliant audio quality and you can enjoy listening to music or radio, 10 meters away from your X10) Of course, this means an extra accessory to carry with you.
--No DivX and XviD video playback
--Low loudspeaker volume(but the audio quality is excellent)
--Earpiece seems to be a little weak
--No free GPS. Plus AGPS must be used, meaning there is always data charges when using the GPS.
--Very Expensive phone
--No true camera flash
--No WiFi “n
--No Bluetooth 3.
So…it’s not the best in term of Specifications, but some people might like it :)
Here are some of the things that SE will DELAY end of next month :D
Here is what you will get from the 2.1 update on XPERIA X10:
Upgrade of the Android platform to Android 2.1
*HD video recording with continuous auto-focus
*New back up and restore application, with extended content back up
*5 homescreens for apps, widgets, shortcuts and folders
*Social phonebook, which automatically syncs contact pictures with Facebook and shows when your friends are online
Dont let us down SE :)
