Some years ago I agree that people didn't necessary know what they bought but nowadays with internet you can't say I didn't know after buying except you were the very first one to buy it. In this sense clients who complain are stupid ! You look before buying not after.
In my job, the client comes and asks me how I can help him. Then he goes to somebody else and asks the same question and so on. Finally, he will choose one of us and he cannot complain about the offered solution because he chose the person who gives him and knwew the offer (price, time, experience ans so on). He can only complain if I don't respect my words but I would have to pay for that.
We disagree about the meaning of feedback (which is not complaining). The feedback is something you provide to SE (in this case) and it works (the problem of low volume will be solved by SE because of the clients feedback). What you wrote in this forum is an opinion, not a feedback. You try something and say what you like or dislike to people but not to SE.
I don't understand your point about the name : Sony Ericsson is not Sony but it is a company made by Sony and Ericsson which was used to make cell phones much before Sony. Moreover, the xperia x10 is not the only one cell phone sold by the company.
If you think about Sony only, I would like to remind you that their last products hasn't sold well even though they are technically great : the walkman, the PS3 or the PSP are much better than their competitors (the ipod sound is bad if you like music) but it is not what people expected (see how the Wii sells whereas it is not technically better than a PS2 but it revolutionned the way to play).
You are disappointed, ok. If I were you, I would wait for the next update. Do it and if you still don't like the phone, sell it.

The specific software that you saw I'm talking about is a must! You have your name (Sony Ericsson) in line to be at the best you have to be the best ... and I see Sony maybe dont care about it!
Feedback ... feedback ... and I use my X10i (sorry btw plz dont cry for the mistake). But the camera is so far a dissapointement ... I dont know if a software update will change something!

What ever I use to be ignored here but you aren't my target because you know already what Moto is more people need to know the truth. Time and Media Scape isn't android OS. HTC have sense UI but still running to get the latest android OS. Nexus the Google phone not special UI on it but the performance of Nexus with Froyo crush X10. Galaxy s a featured phone getting Froyo. Droid 2 or Milestone 2 simply release with Froyo. But SE users are all after X10 UI that even make the X10 to not get updated faster the others.

Hi, I believe this page is meant to discuss the merits and demerits of the Xperia X10 and help existing users get 100% out of their phone. Still I see more posts trying to defend which brand is best or which phone is best instead....Is that not just subjective opinion which varies from person to person? The essence of the comments page gets lost in such unfruitful debates! Anyw I am a happy owner of the Xperia X10 for the past 3months now...it does hv its shortcomings, but it suits my requirements well...hope to see the upgrade to 2.1 improve it further still...

Deciding which phone and ultimatly which brand is the most appreciated and trustworthy is a subjective issue depending on personal opinions . Nevertheless, some key aspects related to the advantage of a handset over an other and the cold hard science which is statistics can not be overlooked or denied by eny person who appreciates the truth. Having been released for a relativly short period of time the Galaxy and Wave are proving to be a total succes story for Samsung despite the fact that the 2 handsets have not been released worldwide. The salles numbers of the 2 handsets are a crystal clear indicator that Samsung products are enjoying a high degree of cofidence from costumers. The target number of 10 million units to be sold set by Samsung is a realistic figure given the quality of the 2 handsets. The upgrade to android 2.2 will bring the Galaxy even more powerfull . The risks involved by introducing a brand new OS on the market would have made other manufacturers reluctant but the gamble payed off when the Wave also proved to be a great succes. In conclusion 2 great devices combined with a good marketing strategy are the key to succes for Samsung . What the future has to bring is another matter. Samsung has already a couple of new high-end devices in the pipelind which judging by their preliminary specs will also likely to be great sellers. In conclusion subjective opinions can never be changed but cold hard facts and numbers prove beyond a shadow of a doubt which brand is better that the other and which phone is the best.

Yeah! That's the correct directory, Music, but I think you need to at least play one of the files there, so the phone will know that there's new files added there...
