[deleted post]Sept X10 will get HD video record, 16M colors and so on. That a good news. But I do respect the Galaxy s even if Sammy is not my favorite. Anyway I wanna see what will be X10 with android 2.1 against others. So what do you think?
Android 2.1 Coming for X10 Phones
End of September, Says Sony
by Quentyn Kennemer on August
Sony Ericsson’s UK Twitter account
today tweeted that Android 2.1 for
their Xperia X10 phones – the X10
itself, the Mini, and the keyboard-
sporting Mini Pro – should all be
seeing Android 2.1 right before
September comes to a close. As their
UK account tipped everyone off to
that piece of news, we can ’t confirm
any other regions will be able to
enjoy the same just yet (including its
new home on AT&T here in the
states), but we can ’t see why they’d
elect to leave anyone out if they
didn ’t absolutely have to.

Normally I charge my phone when I used it as a USB modem so it always gets charge when I use it. In the days of Nickel Cadmium battery, charging it constantly develops memory effect on that type of battery and will make it die quickly, that is the advantage of Lithium Ion and Lithium Polymer battery, they don't develop memory effect and it's good to around 1500 charge and discharge cycle. Just keep it charge when you're not using it...
Does anybody experience the same problem that when the battery reaches about 10% (i.e upon discharge) then the phone itself turns off. When I turn it on again, sometimes it stays on, sometimes it turns itself off again in some time (I have not ascertained the logic when it stays on, when it does not).
As most of the time the battery level is far from critical level (i.e 1-2%) then it cannot be described as a phone self protection. Or can it be?
Kind regards to anyone who answers me :)

First. you need a program called PDAnet or Easy Tether to use your X10 as a USB modem. I am using PDAnet for that function, haven't tried Easy Tether, just Google it, you will find it. For the Timescape, I'm not too sure why it's doing that, but are you sure your phone connect via 3G, is the 3G logo there, near the battery indicator? If not, it might be using GPRS/Edge connection, and it will time-out, before it can get all the required data for the first time it connects to the service. Hope this help...
