and yes, it's not gonna get multitouch ever.
[deleted post]yeah as Roar said it's kinda personal, but i prefer black for these reasons:
1- in the white version, when the screen is off, you'll see the black sreen with white border(personally i dont like it)
2- i think the back of the white version is a bit slippery
3- i like to watch my photos and movies whithin a black border, coz i think white border reflect light in your eyes and effects on the color of things you watching
so i'll go for black :)
when will x10 get andorid 3.0? or can x10 make it to 3.0?
is it true that x10 won't support multi-touch when using 2.1?
Bradley, 12 Aug 2010Well, a nice move by SE there.. I just hope it happens with X10 :) Fingers crossedNot only will it happen quickly on the X10, I am willing to bet Sony also release a PSN store app for the X10, as the specs are there, to run old PS1 games and PS Minis.
Roshan J Thaliath, 11 Aug 2010Hi was away for sometime . I have heard that the in call volume is less . Is that true didn't ... moreI think that was one of the complain by the early users, but it was subsequently fixed by the software update. I did not noticed it, because I updated the software on the day I got the phone...
[deleted post]It's your personal preference. But I like white phones, so I took the white one...

Google and Sony have formed a partnership, Sony is developing TV's with Google software, Vaio laptops have Chrome as the default browser, SE phones are all moving to Android and Sony E-Readers will be using a custom version of Android. Google and Sony are releasing the PSPhone, and it will be the first device to use 3.0. As well Sony will be able to fast track 3.0 for the X10, and it will be wonderful.
out of the topic:
SE in partnership with Google is preparing a PSP phone that will be running Android 3.0, 3.7-4.1 inc screen, WVGA, 1GHz, 5Mp or more...
[deleted post]phones so what i have 9 or 10 phones and i could live without enyone of them... There is no true religion coz there is no real path we were lucky first when the thunder rocked the universe and then water was brought on the unniverse we are nothing more then stardust evolved and savage creatures
Phoenix, 12 Aug 2010now who's not replying?!just look at all the crimes genocides mass killings the flagrant disrespects of innocent life do this seem thd hallmarks of a divine race? We are just evolved apes covered with a thin lair of civilisation! The rules and laws that govern a society are just detturants meant to prevent us regressing back to our primitive state. If society would be wipped out all of us would show our true nature and show what we really are animals. That's the reasom why rules were invented-to protect us from ourselves
[deleted post]A quick look at the Xperia X10 for those who are new with this phone, it's not my review guys coz I don't have it yet, it's what I learned from net and owners reviews, hope it becomes helpful:
--The first thing that caches our eyes is the nice and sleek design.
--And the huge shiny scratch resistant screen! TFT capacitive touch screen at 4 inches - 854×480 pixels. Shows 65k color, but it'll show 16m color after OS update because the hardware is capable of showing 16M colors and for now it’s limited by android 1.6 (Not to mention that even with 65k colors the screen looks really good)
--Then the unique and beautiful UI! The Mediascape and Timescape (performance has got better after the latest firmware update)
--An excellent 8MP camera that is FULL featured, autofocus, LED flash (but it remains photo light until OS gets updated), touch focus, image stabilization, geo-tagging, face and smile detection (it can recognize up to 5 face to save their picture between previous taken pictures from those people or under their contacts), with WVGA at 30fps video recording, and after OS update it'll be an HD recorder!
--3.5mm audio jack & micro USB port and 8GB memory card included, officially supports 16GB but 32GB memory has been successfully tested on it!
--384mb of RAM and the 1 GHz Snapdragon processor.
--Android 1.6!! but it's still great because of the SE custom UI (for example it can transfer files via Bluetooth unlike so many phones with 1.6!) and it'll get android 2.1 plus with UXP upgrade in Q4 2010 (September) maybe a bit earlier and then it'll support flash too! And the greater news is that SE has promised to update the X10 through its life time!
--And the build quality is excellent! It really feels great and comfortable in hand.
AND, of course no phone is perfect and this phone has some lacks too:
--No front camera (like some other devices with android 1.5 or 1.6) but video calling is possible by using Fring
--No multi touch (SE is working for an alternative and we know that it has “1 finger zoom” feature)
--No build in radio(on the other hand it has MW600 with radio and brilliant audio quality and you can enjoy listening to music or radio, 10 meters away from your X10)
--No DivX and XviD video playback
--Average loudness for loudspeaker (but the audio quality is excellent)
--Earpiece seems to be a little weak
As GSMArena says, “Most of the Xperia weaknesses are hardly deal breakers and most people could live with them, don’t underestimate the amount of hard work put into the X10 during the long manufacturing process. The delay was definitely worth it”
So…it’s not the best, but some people might like it ;)
