ش, 20 Oct 2011what about radio , is there is way to let it work ?X10 does not have radio features, if you want radio, you can either install a radio app to listen to radio stations via wifi or you can buy an MW600 bluetooth headset.
I think..... u Dj , u should replace ur phone because...

I was already using Xperia X10i v.2.3, but was not at all comfortable wid that phone. havin some of these major problems wid my x10i
*in x10, sms was not getting delivered wen using net or downloading. after closing browser, all the sms gets in the inbox together.
*in x10, earpiece quality was very low. one should have good grip between your ears and your phone to listen correctly. and in traffic it becomes impossible to talk.(according to me, Blackberry's voice quality might be the best in any phone of the world)
*In x10, while attemping a call, as our ears or face touch the phone, its touch screen starts responding and works on any options on call menu.. dat is in between call, either it goes on HOLD or SPEAKERPHONE, Or open CONTACTS and dial number. (its wen you hav good grip at your ear while talking)
I used c7, and apple 3gs. but dis thing never happened.
*In x10, display was not visible properly in sunlight.
*in x10, most important, dre was very poor battery back-up. after full charge, i used to chat, browsing, and call, and needs to charge in 5-6 hours. even i was using juice defender.
So, guys, please help me, weather i can overcome with this solutions in dis NEXUS S? Even i am Bit confused between Nexus S & Galaxy S. Pls guide me. Or even guide if any other android is better.
Thanks a lot in advance,..
redX, 18 Oct 2011New updated version of MyPhoneExplorer is out and it lets you control your phone through PC :)... morehehe...10 yrs ago when phones were just for calls & text, I remembered using a somewhat similar software from MobileAction to control phone from PC through their USB infrared adapter. It can backup contacts/messages, create ringtones, picture message/logo & allows you to text from PC. That was the coolest thing back then, how fast technology evolves, now phones can do almost anything from reading for you your favorite ebooks to measuring your heart rate.;-)
redX, 18 Oct 2011Well, till date I am not able to root my x10 :( tried many things but none of then worked.I rooted mine last august using this method found in this guide. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=16212639)
Download first this file (FlashTool_0.2.9.1-GBready_root_xRec) then follow the "How to: Root" video guide posted by silveraero. I find the video guide easier to follow than the step by step guide posted there. Make sure you're on stock 2.3.3 before you root your phone. After you have successfully rooted your phone, you can follow the video guide by silveraero or the step by step guide on how to install xrecovery. Once you've done these successfully, you're free to try any custom roms you want. Hope it works for you too!:-)
New updated version of MyPhoneExplorer is out and it lets you control your phone through PC :) .. i was waiting for such software from long time, it dosen't need root even.
You can click and type from your mouse and keyboard directly to your phone.
Anonymous, 17 Oct 2011Yup, backup is necessary if you plan to try different custom roms & its such a hassle if y... moreWell, till date I am not able to root my x10 :( tried many things but none of then worked.
