Farhad, 17 Oct 2011anybody please let me know about its sound quality(using headset) It will be great to listen from X10 with bass reflex headset (that comes with device) and I am experiencing the same .
redX, 08 Oct 2011What about backup of your all data every 'single' day ?Yup, backup is necessary if you plan to try different custom roms & its such a hassle if you do it regularly. Each backup takes 5-8 minutes in xrecovery & is around 300-500mb each so you'll need a larger capacity sd card if you plan on doing this on a regular basis. You can try all the roms you want without fear of bricking your phone as long as your bootloader remained locked. Tried a number of custom roms myself but wasn't completely satisfied with any of them. I'm using a stripped down stock (removed 68 "bloatwares" using titanium), applied a few necessary tweaks I liked from the custom roms like fps uncap, audio stutter fix, EDT tweaks, DSP manager & the overclock module which I noticed increased my internal storage although it doesn't overclock my device. So far so good, a significant improvement in terms of performance & battery life.

Any1 pls help me...i am facing serious problem with android market after upgrading 2.3...i can hardly update my softwares...i cant even update 2 or more applications at a time...i have re-updated the gingerbread but cant get rid of this...N.B: i can download any application but problem occurs whn i go for updating my installed application...
Is 2.3.4 available in SE...?
I updated my phone from 2.1 Eclair to 2.3 Gingerbread via PC Companion. Word of warning; if u wish to do same, backup EVERYTHING!! Contacts, info in apps, etc.
It wipes the contacts from phone and all apps installed unless backed up. Then do a Restore from memory card. Apps will need to be installed again from the market.
senam, 07 Oct 2011addicted to x10... love to try new rom!!! love to hack the phone and get brick soon... buy a n... moreWell, after using each addon for 2 days, although not much difference in performance & battery life as determined by setcpu & battery monitor, I can confirm that both addons increase the free internal phone storage size (overclock +16mb, undervolt +10mb). In my experience, a larger free internal storage always translate to better performance so it's not as useless as it seems.:-)
you may use sony ericson official program to update ...
or visit sonyericson.com and in the support part select your phone (x10) and then choose software update.. read the manual
Everyone who want to upgrade from 1.6 or 2.1 to 2.3.3 please read:
1- Download "SonyEricsson Update Service" from SE website -> Support
2- install and run it. (still don't connect your phone to computer)
3- wait until it connects and checks for updates.
4- follow instructions on the screen.
