I agree with you. I am an SE phone user since their first smartphone came out on the market which is P900. i used it for 4 years and followed by w900i. Both are very good when it comes with the audio quality & loudness. File transfer wise using usb cable, it was pretty fast when I transfered 20 photos from my laptop to X10. We took those photos using a 10MP Canon camera.

It's completely clear now.
Obviously, I'll need do hope there will be some third-party Calendar application which allows to copy/paste tasks (some sort of Digital Informant). Anyway, it's not a big deal.
It's good to hear you can manipulate your data connections. Of course, it's no need to have a device such X10 and not to use it's data connectivity, although you should be given an option to on/off (at least until you get the unlimited data plan, LOL).
Thak you once again for co-operation. You are doing a brilliant job here.
No DivX and XviD video playback
No smart and voice dialing
No secondary video-call camera (or videocalling whatsoever)
No free GPS navigation solution
No Flash support for the web browser
No FM radio
No xenon flash Feeble loudspeaker
Poor audio quality

Picture wise it's still tolerable for me so I don't have any issue with that. Calendar wise, yes I was thinking of that idea too and apparently X10 doesn't have that option. Internet connectivity wise, yes there's an option to turn off the data connections in which the setting is separate from the network connection. I noticed this when I set up my facebook & twitter on timescape. Everytime I check it, it will automatically do some updates eventhough the timescape setting to get an update was set to manual.
In order to shut the data connection off, you need to go to settings, then mobile networks then click on MMS & Data, this will allow you to turn the data connection on and off.
And after doing that, Timescape will no linger use my data connection instead it will show no network available unless if you connect to your wireless router, Timescape can download the update.

Picture topic is clear now. Not very good to have a 1-sec delay in transition between pictures (considering that many phones now have NO delay at all to slide from one pic to another, e.g. Milestone - with much slower CPU). It's acceptable though, moreover there is a chance to solve this issue in upgrade to higher Android version).
Calendar-wise it's my fault in describing the question in proper way. Currently I am using the excellent old SE P910i. I do have an option to copy one specific appointment and paste it to another place. I found this option extremely usfull when dealing with repetitive appointments which occur on irregular basis (so I can't use any reccurent pattern to set to). My question: Can I copy/paste an entire TASK/APPOINTMENT?
There arrose yet another question. Can you shut down data connections? What I mean: if you have an HTC HD2 device, it is possible to cut internet connectivity, but the device re-establishes it automatically in order to do variety of updates! By itself! You shoud install third-party soft to ensure permanent data lock! It appears to be a clumsy task to regulate your data plan. Now, what about the X10? Can you manipulate your data connections as you like?
I'm sorry for the prolonged topic, but unfortunatelly there are still no way for me to test these things by myself.

The audio quality is good although the speaker is not loud enough if we play music or video on it. Ringing volume is tolerable so far but not as loud as other phones. This is another issue that SE needs to tweak.

You're very much welcome. This is day 3 and I use my X10 for calendar, task, notes & reminders and battery life is good.
With regards to your question. I checked the mediascape again and it works good right now. No delay and the transition of pictures will only take for about a sec. I just tested it now from movie, music & pictures and it works good.
Calendar wise, can I ask you what do you mean about copy/paste function? If you are talking about copying & pasting text, this doesn't have that. No need to use of any google account to use the calendar.
Hope this answer all your queries.
Have a blessed day.

Thank you for positive posts of yours. I'm very glad to hear the battery life is excellent - it's very important to many of us.
Would you please share some details concerning these topics:
1. How about the picture browser? I saw the UTube movies where it can be clearly seen a horrible lag in pics updating/rewinding.
2. Calendar function. Especially is there a copy/paste function? Am I forced to use some type of account (google) in order to use Calendar?
I would like to thank you in advance for any comments. Creative and positive persons are highly appreciated here.
