i find this
Who are the buyers Samsung Galaxy S? This is not an idle question, because this is the most expensive solution for a seller, although technically not a related analogy.
In my opinion, this phone will be present for the same segment with the HTC HD2 - expensive, large screen, small sales, price stability and appearance of the skyline. Some other manufacturers also have been presenting their products in this segment, such as for example, Sony Ericsson with the Xperia X10. Originally Xperia X10 is very attractive with large screen and 8 MP camera. But the fact that lately there is lack of multitouch features make prospective buyers began to take a step back. In short if we decide to buy an expensive gadget, then the perfection according to our version is definitely the price that must be obtained. When someone insists X10 has an attractive user interface, the Galaxy also has a shell S.and here we must note that Samsung chose the path to creating an integrated experience for users, the overall appearance of the selected OS, not just manipulating the multimedia display Just like Timescape and Mediascape. 3.0 same TouchWiz interface as we saw in the Samsung Wave, as well as some other models that came out in the summer. The same widget. However, all based on Android. Processing interfaces, capabilities, adding additional programs. All this is done by Samsung at a level that is inherent, so that the device would get maximum functionalization.
Windwalker, 05 Apr 2010them lets remove it
Galaxy in lead,
I was fair thats why I compared the upgraded version of x10 with Galaxy, For sure with SE's delays õf upgrades. the completed SE x10 will be ready at the right time, by 3 to 4 months or may be more.i9000 also get released!!!!! thats why I compared!! upgraded.
A cell phone is not made of water, it's solid and has shape and what you feel in your pocket isn't percentanges or math volume but mm. Samsumg Galaxy S is 3,4 mm higher/longer and 3,1mm thinner, that's what you feel in your pocket, period, the width as you said is almost insignificant, but let's be fair about all the specs and let's avoid trying to cheat them creating stranges points of view that don't match with the real feelings.
Everyone can add more points at both, screen resolution, desing, price tag or construction quality, apart from that, let's not forget that one is already out and the other one is coming in 3-4 months
the price is a bit of worry.............
the 8 megapixel camera is better than other related series..
the 4" display rocks.....nice looks.
Sorry corrections -
i9000 is just 2.8% taller (very little or not notable difference)
Unknown_X, 05 Apr 2010You forgot some points:
119mm vs 122.4mm - *x10 Advanced
63mm vs 64.2mm - *x1... moreWell dimensions really matters but its more fair to take the whole volume of the phone, since thickness is most people concerned,
X10 is 30% thicker than i9000 (notable difference)
i9000 is just 1% wider (not notable difference)
i9000 is just 2.8% wider (very little or not notable difference)
so best is to take the volume, fair for both phones
122.4 x 64.2 x 9.9 = 77cc (cubic centimeters)
119 x 63 x 13 = 97cc (cubic centimeters)
Head to Head battle x10(considered as upgraded) vs i9000

ridhobtmn, 05 Apr 2010yeah, that's right.
but these points:
"119mm vs 122.4mm - *x10 Advanced
63mm vs 64.2mm... moreI was talking about size there, he pointed out as an advantage that the Galaxy S was thinner(9.9mm) than the X10(13mm) but forgot to mention that the X10 was smaller in terms of height and width.
We all know that both phones are really good, but his first comparison wasn't very "fair" in some aspects.
..what? this shows multi-touch while browsing with opera
Phoenix, 05 Apr 2010Come on guys it's obvious that i9000 can be more advance in some points and features! it's new... moreerr... to make everything's clear, we're not arguing here. the 'arguing-ages' had stopped. we're just comparing. and feel free to add another point.
Come on guys it's obvious that i9000 can be more advance in some points and features! it's newer than X10 and it's not released yet! so just look which one suits you and go for it. there is no point to arguing about which one is more advanced!
Windwalker, 05 Apr 2010and also the Just wen to see Samsung I9000 Galaxy, comparatively x10 phone is very poor in me... moreYou can talk what you want to talk. But I go with my own choice. I just bought the Luster White Colour. Just one word. Awsome. No lag at all. All features work alright. It's easy to text with the virtual keyboard. Beautiful design. Timescape and Mediascape are amazing. But most of all, I got the video stand and pouch for free. No regrets with my $769. It's worthed.
