Mobilemaster, 01 Apr 2010Ok, I will forget it my friend. Great news we have a new SE fan here in this forum!!you didn't answer my question! do you think i lied about apple, htc and samsung?!
[deleted post]No I don't and I am a Nokia fan anyway but this device from SE is very impressive and it seems that you always get bothered with other fan brands, the same way we have in Nokia forums.
[deleted post]Nothing wrong with paying more for a phone with outdated OS and no multi-touch as long as you admit to what you are doing and don't try to deceive others into thinking the phone has features it doesn't.
If you want to be trutful, then you tell people, "Great camera. Great UI. Great design (debatable with the plastic). But no multi-touch and no Android 2.1." That's a fair assessment. Simply playing up the positives is blind fanboyism.
[deleted post]If you want to tell the truth, why not talk about about both sides of the coin. The phone has a lot of great features. But not having multi-touch and no SE promise of when they will release Android 2.1 are not some minor details and should not be minimized.
And what's this "we're not trying to promote SE" crap? Of course, you're trying to promote SE. You guys even admit to being blind fanboys.
But flooding the comments sections with "Rah Rah SE Best" comments does not help anyoen and it won't make SE churn out better products. If you guys are so willing to accept flawed SE products now, then SE will never improve. They'll keep putting out products and then quitely say, "Ooops we forgot that."
I am a big fan of SE and half the phones I've ever owned were SE. But I buy SE products because I expect to get top of the line quality stuff. Not having multi-touch and Android 2.1 at release on an $800 phone is simply ridiculous. Seriously. Try browsing Android Market and see the choice of apps you have till they come out with the 2.1 update.
The worst part of all this is that we know SE did it on purpose. They cut corners to save money because they thought they could get away with it (because they know loyal fanboys like you guys will but whatever they put out...you guys really aren't all that different from iFanatics in that regard).
But now that multi-touch is becoming standard on Android, this has huge implications for this handset. What if Google decides in 6 months, that Android 3.0 requires multi-touch as the hardware baseline? What'll happen to the X10 then?
How do you feel knowing that for all your loyalty to them, they decided to leave out multi-touch to save less than $10 (if that)? That's how little your loyalty is worth to SE. That'd rather wait till you buy the phone and then quietly say, "Ooops. We forget about that multi-touch thingy."

Anonymous, 01 Apr 2010You're joking right? SE handsets do not cost that much? Maybe where you live. In the rest of... moreWhy are there so many different mobile phone brands in this world? It's there because of a simple reason.
It's to suit different people with different lifestyle and taste. We all like Sony Ericsson design and features, the way it suppose to be. What's wrong with that. A phone without multi touch and an absolutely outdated OS, it's still a phone. We like paying more, for the wonderful and beautiful design of the phone, and there is really nothing wrong with that.
SE Singapore (Ben), 01 Apr 2010I totally love this and agree too..Me too I also agree with SE 2010 :)
he is the best se fan I have seen in this forum and he always provide evidence of what he says.
[deleted post]forget about allbrands and his lies about me and my religion, and i don't think that SE 2010 is a muslem and it doesn't matter, just tell him(SE 2010) that i'm not what he saies. he saies that i'm telling what other people want to hear, not what i believe is right. i guess you saw my facts about htc, samsung and apple, you think i'm lieing?
Mobilemaster, 01 Apr 2010Welcome in this forum Ben!! :) I am happy you like SE, please help us(SE 2010, I, Phoenix) to ... more....right...'cause maybe if you comment enough, you can trick people researching this phone into believing it has features that it doesn't.
Just watch what happens in the next few months as people discover that some of the really cool games and apps aren't available on the X10 or don't function well on it.
Mobilemaster, 01 Apr 2010Welcome in this forum Ben!! :) I am happy you like SE, please help us(SE 2010, I, Phoenix) to ... moreyea, we should not be unhappy about it.. They are simply jealous of Sony Ericsson, which is why, they do this "small act". I will do my best, help clean up everyday by posting positive and good comments.. Sony Ericsson and fans of Sony Ericsson we stay united.
[deleted post]You're joking right? SE handsets do not cost that much? Maybe where you live. In the rest of the world, SE charges premium prices for their products.
Now that would be okay if they put out a top of the line product. But when you are putting out an OS that's 5 months out of date and quietly let it slip that you'll never have mulit-touch support, that makes the "premium" questionable.
Why should people who pay premium prices get a phone with hardware limitations? And if you don't think multi-touch is an issue, just check out some of the games they have on Android market. With this phone being the only phone without multi-touch coming out this year, you can bet that there will be a lot of nice games and apps that you won't be able to use on the X10. All because SE decided to save literally a few dollars on the digitizer. Just remember that. SE crippled the X10 to literally save a few dollars.
[deleted post]Welcome in this forum Ben!! :) I am happy you like SE, please help us(SE 2010, I, Phoenix) to defend this forum, and be a part of this "group". If you have time, spend it here, what do you think? Almost daily this forum is attacked, and we need more SE fans here.
Exclusive news to Singapore.
SingTel will be offering this phone at $388 with a 2-year contract on 3rd April 2010. Be one of the first few to get your hands on this beautiful smartphone powered by Android OS. iPhone is way too common on the streets. Try something different now from Sony Ericsson. Its make.believe.
I’m really happy that other brand users are so jealous of Sony Ericsson. This shows that Sony Ericsson is capable enough to attract them here, to read about their latest cool mobile phones. All the waiting is worthwhile, we will benefit by enjoying high quality features and design in the comfort of our hands. SE handsets do not cost so much as other brands, as when they launch the handset, they blend the prices according to the market. Sony Ericsson, we fans support you for life. So do not disappoint us in the coming years.
