The phone is great in size, weight and portability. But has some serious drawbacks like typing can be very difficult for fast typer, battery doesn't even last one whole day, no zoom functionality while shooting pics or vids.

The phone is a piece of junk if used without third-party applications. It runs on Android 1.6 operating system and has thousands of applications in Android Market, which is not available for middle-east region.

Currently I'm using it as my primary phone... I'm happy with it :)

jade, 04 Sep 2010Heyo. I love this phone bt just one q, how do I get root permissions for bluetooth? I download... moreOne more time...
You do not need root permision...there is explonation how to do that (root your phone) but dont do that couse youll not be able to update your phone on android OS 2.1v at the end of the year...
Just go (after start BTfile transfer app youll see some message about not having root permission but just ignore that and follow these instructions) on decovery devices (option on BTFT), after you get the list of devices pick one, enter the same pass when it ask for (for your and remote devices) example 0000 for both devices, and wait until you get message that you are connected...maybe, just maybe, youll need to do this step couple of times if you try to connect for the first time...after connection is established, go to remote files (explore remote files), files on the other device, find what you are looking for and just use copy - paste (option you get by pressing left button on the phone) to folder on your SD card...
This is for Blue Tooth File Transfer app...

This phone is one of Sony's great invention, the people not liking this product didn't take time to understand it diverse features that fits this modern era of tech!It can do anything a Android,Blackberry,an few features as the N 97 could do and maybe better. If so check out the processing features on the phone.

AMIT TRIPATHI, 02 Sep 2010dude than whats the use of buying a smart phone when u cant use its features than basic bar ph... moreI do not agree with you.
It is imho far from basic.
It does only a few things not ,but the things it does it does well.
Example I never had a phone with a better gps.
Do not forget it is also a lot cheaper than most phones.
I think this phone is brilliant.
And I think a lot of people out there also.
And not the least of them "the EISA" award jury.
So maybe it is more about yourself and what you aspect from a (smart)phone.
If I was you I should considder and think very well of what you want from a phone before buying.
