i bought a 1500mah battery for this phone . now 6 days stand by time
This must be the WORST phone I have ever owned. I changed all the setting to save my battery life. I dont ever browse the web on it as I have turned off the 3G. I don't even make a single phone call because I dislike this piece of @#$% so much. After 2 hours of standby it is dead. What use is a phone if you can ever use it.
Sony Ericsson should recall their junk and give us our money back!!!

Instructions to upgrade to froyo 2.2
Download the latest ROM from the release link
Rename the .zip file to update.zip
Copy the update.zip to your sdcard (top level). E.g via your PC or via 'adb push update.zip /mnt/sdcard/'
Reboot to xrecovery
Keep a backup of your current status using xrecovery's Backup & Restore in case you want to restore
Select 'install update.zip from sdcard' from the top menu of xrecovery
Select 'Factory Reset' from the top menu of xrecovery (no need to do this if you are already running MiniCM6)
Reboot (first boot will take ~2 mins)
If you don't stick to the above instructions you might get various problems (WiFi, Data traffic, Bluetooth etc).
In that case, and before reporting an issue, select 'Factory Reset' from the top menu of xrecovery & Reboot
Downloads: Please do NOT mirror
MiniCM-RC2
If you can't change frequencies via the CM Settings -> Performance Settings -> CPU Settings menu, use this fix
go to xda deveopers and upgrade it from there to froyo 2.2 . its very easy. it has the download link.
Make your own phone if do not like it. Mine has sent to service centre last week due to some problems. I hope will not have problems after collecting it and you should do your homework instead not putting anyhow in.
