I have SE x10 and I just did update to 2.1 and I told my cousin( she have SE x10 mini pro )the way I did, and she tell me she did it and work good. Here the instrution how: "go to setting, look for language & keyboard then select localelook for English (UK)or (United Kingdom), after that connect it to PC, open PC Companion and follow what it on screen.... good luck...
don't forget to back up your data first, is that simple!!!
Hey Luigi if you are confused about battery then definitely x10 has better back up. Then bluetooth problem is due to android 1.6 limitations. But sony have provided that in x10 but not in mini pro and x10 has just got android 2.1 in which there is no problem of bluetooth. In few days 2.1 will also be available for mini pro so make your choice. If you love multimedia features then go for x 10 because it has great resolution for playing games and videos and also good browsing experience. By the way where are you from and which cellphone you were using earlier? I am from india.
can xperia x10 mini pro's battery change to a higher capacity battery like 1500mah ? the battery of x10 mini pro same with SE s500,i think it can support...
Anonymous, 05 Nov 2010Hey Luigi, x 10 costs 26500 rupees whereas mini pro costs 15500 rupees. i cnt decide whether to get the x8 or x10 mini pro....
how much memory is available for apps & games on the x10 mini pro???
are there many problems with games because of the screen!?!?
Hey Luigi, x 10 costs 26500 rupees whereas mini pro costs 15500 rupees. One has 4 inch display and other has small 2.5 inch. Now you decide you want biggest sony cellphone or the smallest one. You didn't tell why you are confused. If I had money I would have bought x 10
Josh, 29 Oct 2010I am unable to download operamini straight to my phone. How do I do it? go to: www.m.opera.com, your browser detect automatically your phone, its type and version i mean, and follow instruction
This phone looked the goods when it first came out. Keyboard, android, good camera blah blah features/specs.
Wow. I don't think I could imagine a more disappointing and frustrating experience.
It continually drops reception, a hard reset is the only way to bring it back.
It can't sync with outlook, or export contacts to a local file. For some reason the only syncs possible are with Internet services.
Sorry if you're not comfy putting friends' numbers on the web...
You can't save photos sent to you via mms (if you manage to receive them at all!), Bluetooth file transfer only just got supported, the os is now a year out of date (2.1), the 'backup and restore' doesn't,
The battery lasts less than 16hrs, if you don't do anything with it, the screen scratches easily, the touchscreen is inconsistent in sensitivity and the software update process simply doesn't work.
Most of the functionality that I had in my 8yr old T610 is no longer present in this so called 'smart-phone'. The presence of 'apps' doesn't make up for the complete lack of basic functionality desirable in a camera phone.
Zero stars. If we had known what a dud this was, we would have chosen a nokia 3315 instead.
