There is no skype video calls as of this moment. Only voice calls for now. However you can download Yahoo Messenger + Yahoo Messenger Plug-in for video calls. You can use the back camera for Yahoo Video Calls. Since X8 has no front cam, inorder to see the other person you are chatting with, you may use a mirror :)
And the latest X8 in black can be rooted now to support real dual touch.

moro, 27 Jul 2011x10 got the android 2.3.3 Gingerbread .. x8 will get it too or what ?i think never as it do not have that hardware support. anyways my x8 with eclair is fine..

Ian, 26 Jul 2011its a nice phone, good apps but the problem is that you can only store limited application bec... moreMaybe this is not the best idea, but if you dont wanna go with rooting you can search and saved in memory card the .apk files of apps. that you need. Whenever you want to run the application you can just tap the files from file manager and will be installed by application installer. Need more space in phone memory, just remove it, and you can tap another .apk file to be installed, and so on. Yeah I know this is unpractical, but...

No editor??? have on phone, and in Market
Good phone with 2.3 cooked ROM & 710 Mhz CPU :D

its a nice phone, good apps but the problem is that you can only store limited application because the very limited phone storage, if only there' a way that can store the application in memory card, being eclair, means limited capabilities, even if the phone can handle it,, is there any we can store the application in the card without rooting it,, thanks

Dear friends,
thanx 4 ur valuable suggestions. i can wait for xperia ray or other phones. but my budget is not very high. hence i was opting for this phone. cant buy xperia mini or mini pro. thoug i'll wait for new launches hoping tht thy will be little cheap.

cy, 26 Jul 2011it has no document editor and no zoom, don't buy. this is not a good one.It also doesn't have front camera, no super amoled screen, no flash support, no led flash/ light, no 1 GHz cpu, can't record video in hd resolution, too little internal memory, screen is not visible under sunlight, battery only 1200 mAh, no android update in the future by the manufacturer, etc etc... but you are toooo little too late in suggesting people not to buy this phone, because this one is already among the best selling android phone from SE.
