Xperia X8 does not have Multi touch ,camera has no Zoom. I am disappointed, these should be specified.

Battery backup is too poor of it

Handset is fine. But battery backup is bad. Whether someother anrdroid version is better for X8.

patos, 26 Jun 2011hi will i lose all apps if i do a custom rom install of floyo 0.30, is there any way i can bac... moreno work around sorry, majority of the apps in your stock rom won't be imported directly to your phone during a rom upgrade, the best thing you can do is do a backup apk for each of your apps in your stock rom then after that you can install your custom rom and use android assistant for batch uninstall, then install all apps again one by one

dineshreddy, 26 Jun 2011guys i got my phone rooted succesfully.........but i got prob at custom rom 2.2 cynogen mod...... moredon't forget to do a fullwipe of your phone, go back to xrecovery then try to to a fullwipe, if it doesn't work restore again to floyo .25 then fullwipe again

This phone is good.
Camera and sound quality in Mic much good.performa of msg so nice. But there is no file manager and no option of choosing of apps install in phone and sdcard.and no upgrade more than 2.1

It's good phone for low price..but main downside is low battery backup...i bought this 2 weeks ago...i have to charge it day by day..now i;m going to get froyo on it..but i can't find good froyo custom rom for it..if some one know about gud froyo rom...pls tell me...thanks

The custom ROM Froyo 2.2 (Floyo 0.25) has wifi bug and struggles in video playback, though the rest is okay. I changed it now to W8 Walkman ROM Eclair 2.1 with Laucnher Pro and everything seems running smoothly so far. I modified everything and the end product is a mix of HTC Clock & Wallpaper, iPhone Icons in Homescreen with Sony Ericsson skin + audio effects equalizer application.
