kerrigan, 09 May 2011I can't even connect to the internet using WIFI on X8but i can use wifi service on my xperia x8... it works properly and i enjoy it

I'm going to buy this smartphone, but..I'm still thinking about it's camera. The camera is still using 3 MP instead now a day, there's mojority smartphone out there are using camera more than 3 MP! By the way, I'm now using X10 Mini. X10 is using 5 Mp with autofocus,flashlight and also LED light assistant while capturing a video! But my conclusion is, the Xperia series like X10 Mini and X8 should have more upgrades!

[deleted post]You dont need to root your phone, and that vid preview of mine was an stock one, no jit, no root, no oc, plain stock you can look at the date when it was uploaded. dec 31, that is the month when SE finally release its 2.1 update to their SE phones. so ROOT and other ways of installing modules at that time is not yet available

* relatively cheap
* battery life is good if you manage it properly
* small enough to be discrete in pocket
* can do ALMOST anything a high end android phone can though only slower
* sound is superb almost comparable to a walkman phone, headphone or speaker wise it is SONY by the way haha
* display is nice better than your average phone
Cons:
* has no native way to install "apps2sd"

Ian, 09 May 2011i bhought this cute little phone well all i can say is its an awesome phone,, the battery is g... moreforget about multitap install swype, it will make you type text faster trust me, anyways to maximize your phone try installing apps2sd I have over 200mb of apps installed and still have 100mb of free space

Its a great phhone....really comes in handy at all times, and guess what, it even supports skype (Android 2.1). You have to try it :)

akks, 06 May 2011Look, I am using x8 and it has a decent video clarity and sound is below average. The word &qu... moreu r wrong mr.akkas.....just installl power amp or mixzing....u will find out wat is bass and extra bass....x8
is damm gud in sound, no doubt......

i bhought this cute little phone well all i can say is its an awesome phone,, the battery is good 1.5 days in heavy use and 2 days for normal,, wifi is fast and easy to use and bright and very responsive screen,, sound is good and processor is fast, the virtual key was quite small and it takes time to get used to,, better if sony put multi tap whileon portrait and qwerty in landscape mode,, but once you get used to its fast as the sensor is fast, the only negative is the camera,, camera is good but the lack of settings makes it a not good camera phone,, you dont have the option to adjust the size of the picture, aside from that all about this little phone was great!! handy fast and loads of application!! and eye catching too!!!!
