hi, could someone tell me how the way to update the version of my X8 android? I dunno how the way to update it into eclair or the higher vrsion? Pleasee!

i rooted my x8 it's worth a lot for all you beginners recommend MINICM6 1.0.0 froyo rom as it has the excellant features that you never thought would be for eg....3dgallery ....pinch zoom ....move apps to SD .......internet connection ...........i love it guys also i have it's successor ELelinux v5..... will try it later

Lukin2root, 03 May 2011Hey can sumone tell me if they've trried to root thier X8...... is it worth the risk??? :/Theres no risk to just go for it, I have an xperia x8, I've been flashing ROMs and all sorts on it, it still hasnt messed up :)

hey ppl i need your help in this,,,,
i hav conected wifi in my cel and followed the instructions that are to be made in the cell for the browsing ,, but google, youtube, are showing
"no internet connection", and the wifi shows it is connected ,,,
how can i fix this

Got my X8 in January 2011 from 3 for £99.
My first Android.
It's great value for the spec!
Much better to use than my Nokia 5230.
I keep looking for others with better specs, but they are all much dearer.

TMeX, 03 May 2011Hey guyz I've been using the X8 for about a month now and its great. :) but i have 1 problem..... morehello there, please make sure that you have more than 20 mb free remaining on your phone memory, or else you won't be receiving any message. hope this helps. :) i prefer that you delete some unused apps in your x8. cheers.

Hey guyz I've been using the X8 for about a month now and its great. :) but i have 1 problem....... It doesnt recieve new messages :( I deleted some of my excisting messages thinking that it might be becoz of low memory but still it doesnt recieve new sms's :( Can anyone plz help me with this or is there a way to save my text messages to sd card??? PLEEZ help me... Thanx :)

@francis, back when I tried link2sd, it had bugs, causes my phone to crash and is unable to install large applications to sd, anyways I don't know if it is stable yet but if it is then go for it at least it is not complicated.
