Overall features of this mobile is gud...Only thing is android 1.6 version is installed,but anyway v can upgrade to 2.1..Alternative phone i would suggest is Samsung galaxy with almost same features but with android 2.1....
Can anyone tell me how to install english to english dictionary(like oxford dictionary)in this mobile..I hv downloaded and installed the dictionary for android 1.6,but it's connecting to the internet..I don't hv internet connection in my mobile..Can anyone suggest me some websites or link where i can download the dictionary which should work without internet connection i.e, in offline..

I bought Sony Ericsson X8 3weeks from now and I haven’t noticed that the internet connection was on Auto connect mode! My running bill for a week was doubled of my account limit! I had no choice but to deactivate my GPRS. After two weeks of having the X8, another problem occurred. It automatically shuts down. No power at all. Sony Ericsson has no diagnostic report until now of what happened on my unit.

zak, 18 Feb 2011i agree with you i thing X8 is one of the stupid rubbish android phone along with x10 family ... moredamn.. just use this damn x8 about a week only.. galaxy ace is out now... with a 3,7" and froyo.. price is around $300. thinking to switch this stupid x8 with the briliant ace.. im gonna sold this fkin troublesome phone..
