Did u see that software update for Xperia X8...Yeahhhhhhhhhh....I just did it an its just awesome and they say that we are getting multi-touch which I was so happy that I fell and broke my leg...Whoaaaaa...Actually I started to hate Sony Ericsson but now I m actually going back to Sony Ericsson...U see although Samsung,motorola,lg and htc has the latest version of the android software they cant be updated anymore..But Not Sony ericsson....Cheers guys now my phone's performance is really good and cant wait for th multi-touch

Hi. My X8's backup and restore functionality is not working properly. when i am trying to back up market apps, the process is not getting completed.. can any suggest what i needs to do? is it possible to uninstall and reinstall this functionality? is any body else facing the same problem... thanks

There's no built-in file manager in the phone, so you need to install one to see all your files...

WCDMA only, GSM only or GSM/WDCMA preferred?What I notice is, when you want to save on battery, put it in GSM only, if you want to use WCDMA or 3G, switch to that instead. I place a widget in the screen just for that purpose in my phone...

thanks!As for Globe, just use the auto download setting on the phone and it will download to correct setting for Globe Telecom for your X8 if you are on postpaid account. If you are on pre-paid, you need to change the word internet to http...
internet.globe.com.ph for Post-paid account.
http.globe.com.ph for Pre-paid account
Everything else is correct and no need to change except the APN wording in front...

how can i send one contact from my phonebook WITHOUT using MMS? the problem is that if i want to send an contact form my phonebook to aniother person it makes u send a MMS instead of a sms. I just need to send the phone number not the picture and the whole story. anyone facing this situation?

-No it doesnt have a flash, obviously...
-In Android 2.1 you cant install apps in the SD,you need 2.2 at least, currently only available for the latest high end mobiles.
-The wi fi and bluetooth are as fast as it can get atm.
-The music quality is better than average, but not as exceptional as other walkman phones,unfortunately the headset is not the good one,mini x10 has.
-As for the internet setting ask for an e-mail with instruction to put them manually.

I contacted them about this and they told me that they don't have available settings for x8 and then told me to ask Sony Ericsson about it. when I asked SE they told me that Sun will be the one who will provide me the settings. Confusing. can you help me please?
