i just cancelled my intention to buy this phone then(except of course if SE grants this phone a froyo).
now i will have to look for the alternatives..... curve 3G or optimus one??? hmmm.....

Has 2.1. The memory card can store data such as music, photos, videos, documents etc. This is true of all android phones using 2.1 and lower.

way to transfer it at all! whats the use of your 16gb memory if you can keep your downloaded applications in it!

2 days old and my x8 is playing up. the screen brightnes has a mind of its own. and keeps changing every few seconds.

20 hours in standby mode is poor.

how to see running application in background because my phone shows contineous data transmission and thats why battery ischarged within 8 hour.also is there any app in android market for video calling.

just wnt to SE dealer to take a look at this phone again. when i asked to the storekeeper bout the durability, she just said that, the material is not as good as x10 mini and be careful when u use a touch screen phone, don't drop it even once. wew! i touched the casing and yeah it feels fragile and about 'not to drop it' thing, well, till now i always use nokia and dropped it accidentally for more than 3 times but it's still OK.

juz bought about couple of weeks ago... unfortunately..my x8 dun have any social apk sort of facebook,tweeter,youtube and.. android market.
when im return back to the x8 dealer their said dats the original one..
so i need some body to guide me how to install android market (where i can i find it) youtube,facebook..etc..
overall dis look kool then...
