Yeah, SE Xperia has serious problems with Wi-Fi.

i use it in a few weeks,but it got some problem like i cant send or accept any messages to/from others even the line is full.some time it will translate the message from chinese become unknown words.did it broken or any problem to my X8?

1. Check if you have stable internet connection (other than your phone, your phone will be switched off during the upgrade and you will require alternate internet to push the upgrade0
2. Install pc companion and let the pc companion detect the phone.
3. PC companion will advise you for correct upgrade, just follow the instructions.

Great phone, super cool!!!! Just got it last December and immediately update to 2.1 with no difficulties. This phone is for my wife and she likes it, especially with all-while color.
