I've had the same problem a month ago on the bus station. I couldn't use their network although it was written that I'm connected and there was a strenght signal.

I tried to update my phone but it's not working. I still have the 1.6 android. Hope I will be able to update to 2.1 soon... :( Please somebody tell me if the 2.1 supports the live wallpaper on this phone?

My X8 is working extremely smooth.
I advise u to do a software update/reinstall.
Or maybe the video u r trying to play is corrupted or virus infected.

Thirty-two batches of Eclair (Android 2.1) are already in the oven, and you need to do is easily check to see if you’re a likely candidate for upgrade by checking the back of your phone. So check what “SI-number” your Xperia X8 has and then search this page to see if it’s out yet. I’ll update the list every hour:

My phone\s product code is not yet included on the list for the OS update. Whew no wonder I can't update mine from 1.6 to 2.1. Hope SE would release an update for my phone's product code soon.
