Hi Praveen this side.
Look guys and gals X8 i surely a good phone may be other brands like galaxy 3 or htc etc (at same price) has 2.1 eclair but this phone is beauty.
2.1 eclair will be available for all xperia family.
I am huge fan of iphone and n i also have x8 using its launched date and believe me its good if not excellent.
What x8 make better than others at same price is its music, looks, handy and internet browsing.

this phone has android 1.6 and priced at 14000, whereas galaxy 3 has android 2.1 priced at 12500. wat do u think will be a good buy???

igo, 22 Oct 2010im planning to get this or vivaz, can't choose between the two, damn, is it really hard to do ... moreIt's easy to write SMS on this phone. I bought it last week and it's quite. :) Vivaz or X8? Well... If there was Vivaz with Android, I'd surely buy Vivaz. But unfortunately it has the same old Symbian... seriously?! Symbian?!?!?! :-|

I'm shocked gsmarena says there is no multitoch but x8 screen supports.It is clearly seen in google maps.Multitouch is not avail. in browser But it works in android browser when android 2.1 rolled out.

Outstanding cell phone...
speed, timespace, screen resolution, this handset has yet again represent sony's tag line "make.believe"
two things i missed in it are no flash & no front cam...
but i compromise on both of b'cz of the sheer class of this handset.

Can anybody confirm if multitouch works in the google maps application? I know it says the phone does not support multitouch but I saw a video on youtube where the reviewer claimed it had multitouch capabilities but it only worked in google maps. He also showed how he zoomed in and out on the map by pinching, but he did it so quickly that I am not entirely convinced it was in fact zooming because of his pinch motion.

LC, 20 Oct 2010can anyone tell me if this phone is worth buying? really need to know, going to buy one tomorrow..??Its worth buying bcs I had almost 20 days already and I really love the features of the phone.especially the timescape and mediascape.Its music quality is also very good in terms of the x10 mini and the earphones r good and also hav good sound quality.So I stress u that it is a must buy fone lol

Roki, 20 Oct 2010today i brought it.I never believe it in 13500 in kolkata i got a very fast processing android... morethis phone has 5mp?? u must have bought xperia mini, cuz this phone has 3mp brother
