Have any of you updated the firmware by using the update service software. You can even downgrade it if you find any problems with the recent firmware. It's been almost 2 weeks and I have only charged my battery twice.

I had this phone for a week (graphite black) and so far it's been fine. Reception is good, no sudden "shut down". It doesn't come with software/USB cable but the software can be downloaded from the Sony Ericsson website so it's ok. The sound is ok, not the best. It's quite fast, accessing programs/contact/etc. So far, I'm satisfied with the phone.

How is the call quality in this phone? Is the sound in the ear piece clear? The sound in my w580 was really bad and I am afraid it will be the same in other SE phones.

I am very disappointing by this phone. It does strange things for which I cannot explain, Don't even think to buy this phone.All my phones up to now were Sonny Erickson and this is the first time I lead down by such phone.

I has been 2 months that I'm using this phone. I'm beginning to dislike it: the battery life is rubbish! After 3 days of normal usage the battery is dead! This is not a performance you would expect from a standard phone (some smartphones perform better!). Again, the battery performance is a HUGE DISSAPOINTMENT! What a shame...

and did i mention that i just bought this a month ago and i never drop it. its still 100% in good condition but somehow, everytime i have no reception, the phone just went DEAD. it automatically shuts down. its annoying! and i had to press 3 times at least to get it started again. this is such a disappointment :( i think i'll try SE W980 and hopefully, SE does not fail me again

i agree with amras..i have never felt so disappointed with SE. This is the first time it breaks my heart! i dont mind that this phone does not support video calls and all, but it breaks my heart when the reception is very bad! i hardly have reception now and then. its frustrating!!!!

Looks pretty stylish on the inside but the shell really bugs me -not sure about the "centred circle followed by stretched oval underneath on a rectangle block" look.

I am trying to downloa... moreDWAU could you tell me the capacity of your memory card? if it's 258 MB or 512 MB i think there is'nt enough space to store pictures and musics. if you wish to store a lot of photos or musics, i suggest 1GB memory card or above.

If you want the qualities of a clamshell (answer calls by opening phone, fits shape of face when open etc.) then Z770 is the most stylish, user-friendly, lightweight, feature packed phone at a reasonable price!

Help, can anyone tell me how to download to memory stick in this phone? I am trying to download mp3 podcasts, but phone just says not enogh free space and thats it. where can I set the phone to download to memory card?
