Judyth,
Thanks for that info on the color of the Z800. If I were to order a Z800 from the U.S., could you tell me what the cost is? Thanks.
yes i am one of the many asking if anybody knows if the z800 works with american tmobile and if it does, does it work well? or poorly? and what is UMTS
hey,
can this phone stream, play, or download video? My friend has the nokia 6600 and it played clips of video using realplayer and i was wondering if this could do the same or if it uses a different video player? Any type of help is appreciated, thanks
Z800i has two designs, Titanium Silver (The smooth, plain silver cover) and Linear Silver (The stripey cover). Though I prefer Titanium Silver, Linear Silver can be found almost everywhere here. (Singapore)
The Z800i is without a doubt the best mobile phone I have ever had, and I have had a few of them! Chances are Three (Aus) will discount this phone by Christmas and I strongly recommend this phone to anybody. My first mobile was an Ericsson and you just can't go wrong.
Nobody talks about Reception on this phone.
I am with T Mobil and in certain areas the reception is very week on my Sony-Ericsson 610, so I need a real sensitive phone for a better reception. Does anyone know if there is any improvement on Z800? Is anyone aware of difference, quality or rating of the reception of this phone?
Dear Perry,
U better use a card reader to transfer the MP3 data from your computer to your phone, coz the internal memory of Z800 only 6 MB so it'll be better to place all data to your memory stick except java game and aplications.
It's very easy to take out the memory stick from its place, just use your forefinger and u dont have to open the battery (only the back cover) coz it hotswap, U can replace the memory stick without turning off your Z800 (make sure u do it when your phone on standby mode, not when U accessing the menu)
can anyone help me, i just bought my z800 and im having some trouble on transfering my mp3 in my computer to my phone. does anyone know how to do it? pls help. thank you.
can anyone help me, how do you take out the memory stick from a z800 phone. i just bought it today and im having some problems taking it out.
stunning phone.. camera been the only disaapointment. quite some noise in the snaps where d light is on the lower side. excellent multimedia capabilities. perfect to woo-d-men.. NOT for women.
Does anyone have the Linear Silver, 2-tone color? The vertical silver tones like the one in the picture? All the vendors I called have the smooth silver or white. Thanks.
This is a typically MEN phone.
I like this!
Its a great hightech phone compare to N6680 which front camera only with VGA, Z800 full 1,3 MP (1280 x 1024 not 1280 x 960) front and rear coz it could rotate. If U play the MP3 player it sound even great than S700i (with original stereo handsfree) and easy to operate, if u close the flip u still can play and choose from the playlist just using volume and flash (for pause) button. Its feels like holding a walkman phone, just expand the external memory to 516 MB (pro duo) and u will have the feel of walkman 3G phone (W800 was not a 3G phone).
z800 is my best cell now it's guarranteed 100% that i ever had
This is the best mobile phone I have right now. I am very impressed with its design, features, and performance.
it "should" but i'm not 100% sure as i do not have the V802 here in aus 2 compare against unfortunately.
That means V802 also having the tech :Mega Bass™ (trademark of Sony Corporation)
and 64k external screen?
MobileNoob,
the V802 and the Z800i are exactly the same model save for the software and aesthetics. the V800 series is a Vodafone 3G exclusive phone so it's got the Vodafone badging and their menu theme plus software to be used on their 3G network. AFAIK there isn't anything technologically different between the Z800 and the V800. so the specs should be exactly the same.
Can anyone please tell me..is there any diffrent between Z800i and v802.
Is it exactly da same or hav some minor change?
and both also having same external display?
(i cant find any information about the external screen of v802)
And i cant find z800i in my country
thanks for helping
sorry i mean nickeynicknick...
and darin i think the Z800 camera is of a CCD type and the S700 is of a CMOS type. in terms of quality i think they're pretty similar. unfortunately i don't own the S700i so i cannot do a direct comparison. but if you go here : http://www.mobile-review.com/review-en.shtml
that page has reviews for both phones so you can compare the quality of the pictures.
