Sony Ericsson Zylo - user opinions and reviews

I bought Sony Ericsson Zylo 2 months ago and it was working fine but 5 days ago mobile display is not working.
I tried reset my mobile but nothing solved the issue.
I gave it in sony service center 1 month back till now i did not get my phone. worst phone and poor response from such a top sony company. Pls dont buy Sony Ericsson Zylo.

Hey guys, I've been using this phone for the past 1+ month. No issues at all. Finger's crossed that none of the faults mentioned on this forums have been faced by me.
This is a absolutely a fantastic phone. I'm very happy with it.
Previously I owned a SE W580i. Even for this phone I had read several user complaints about the keypad getting cracked. I used this phone for 2+ years and did not have a single issue with it. I guess everything depends as to how good you use the phone.
Sony Ericsson indeed provides high quality phone however, the personal usage matters.

I bought zylo 2 months ago & it was working fine but 3 days ago zylo's in call earpiece stopped working.
I tried master reset, software update ,phone repair via pc companion but nothing solved the problem.
Now it's in sony ericsson service centre. U would have observed that 95% complaints regarding zylo r from india. I strongly advice everyone to not buy this phone at least in india until the problem is solved.
Even in service centre about 70% phones regarding problems were zylo.

not happy with the phone as its got so many problems like display,sound and softkey button,

Prosun, 23 Oct 2010Hey kunal, Zylo and W705 both r superior for music. Zylo can play FLAC also. But u will ave 2 ... morethank u so much Prosun. Then I'm going for HPM-88 as it has Noise Canceling features. I hope it is still available in Kolkata (the HPM-77 seems to be out of stock in sony center's around here)

Heylo guyz.....i have Zylo with me! m so in love with it... itz an awesum phone that sony ericsson fans must have with em....others can go to hell!! if u dont like it.. Well the best part is the Walkman that sony ericsson included in this cutie pie... and about the camera u can say itz enough for a normal person but nt for professionals... the ram is a bit slow...but hey hey...u can always trust sony ericsson! My rating 8/10.
A must have for fans of sony ericsson!!

IMHO, if you really want to buy 3G phone from Sony Ericsson, better buy J105 (Naite).
it's cheaper and it's more stable than this phone.

Slider NOT WORKING, Spare Parts NOT AVAILABLE IN INDIA.
My slider is not working, No spare parts available in INDIA. SO better guys dont ever buys this phone.

I bought zylo a month ago,and i post a message concerning the issue of VGA video frames rates..if u have read it..I would like to apologize for giving u the wrong message..at that time,i though the problem has to do with the folder management..that doesn't solve the problem..i got it wrong..and would like to clear this..
now,I am very sure that it isn't,the truth is..it is a variable frame rates camera for taking video,which only gives you 29.XX maximum frame rate under strong sun light,in the low light situation or even indoors with bright fluorescent or incandescent light,u can only get 8 or 5 frames of vga video..jerky,lousy,terrible video
their is only 2 option for zylo,u can either choose video for MMS or VGA.for the cheaper sibling cedar..u won't get anything better.
VGA 30frames is just a gimmick by SE,I felt being cheated by SE...i would prefer CIF 30 frame rather than getting VGA 8 frame.
IF video recording is important to u...don't buy zylo or cedar
