I'll probably buy this phone of all phone out of release right now, I'm an anime lover the screen specs is the best out there on market. Correct me if I'm wrong if you screenshot your screen the size would the size of screen and this screen is perfect.

Nikolasdi, 19 Sep 2019Remember this phone has 1644p 4K screen, not 2160p 4K screen, so it only has a little higher p... moreThe 4K resolution for most screen with 21:9 ratio is 1644p. the 4k that sports 2160p are screen with 16:9 ratio, so technically the screen resolution in xperia 1 still 4K. I'm currently use Xperia 1 as my daily driver, but honestly, the 4K screen is a bit too much. I would prefer 90Hz 1440p screen, but in 21:9 aspect ratio. I personally like this aspect ratio (yeah I needed a lot of getting used to at the beginning)

While one plus has curved screen that costier to produce and also 90hz screen, there is also underdisplay fps. So one plus is way more advanced.

Even a $100 cheap chinese is much mo... moreMy Galaxy S2 drop on floor 1time screen cracked directly, but my Xperia Z2 crashed the car door 4 times to broken up not to mention how many time I drop it on floor. Sony Is Best Phones i have Ever seen, I have Also Sony Xpria Xz2.. At One I Buy Sony Then I Never again Buy Some Other Brand.. Becouse my sony never give a chance to get any other phones.. Love U Xperia

Ma, 09 Sep 2019I have exactly same case and same question It is advised to change brands because if you only use 1 brand, you will become a narrow minded fan boy. I used nokia, sony-ericsson, htc, samsung, sony, iphone and xiaomi. My next phone will be oneplus after I sold my xperia 1.

I see so much bitching about screen size and format. Who wants to bet that after a year or so almost every other phone manufacturer will use this screen format? I swear to God , every time Sony does something new there is an army of idiots bashing as if it's the antichrist in person. This looks a lot like they do it on purpose. I am a Sony fan but i never came here to talk crap about other brands. I simply don't care about other brands. For me they simply have no appeal.
