Sony mobiles are excellent. Screen and result outstanding but battery and mobile back must be change. Battery must be 5000 mah.

and has anyone been able to flash the global firmware on the softbank variant ( I tried to find a solution in XDA site but no luck 😥)

answer, 21 Dec 2022nope, i compared with other cheaper n older smartphone also with stereospeaker integarted. 1.... moreHave to correct me: LTE+ working very good with highest speeds ever measured compared to all my other lte phones. It was an APN config issue! But all the other CONS are true + WlanHotspot is only capable with 2,4G wifi4, that sucks too!

1. = sound very weak and it sounds like white noise coming from shell!
2. = donT understand what this dolbyAtmos shit is good for, it damps the sound spectrum, so i have to disable it listening music!
3. UsbTethehing does not work at all! It s just out grayed because of stupid sony os!
4. no 4g+ symbol .... this is a very overpriced shitty phone, im so glad to withdraw my order, even it just cost me just 320,24€. it SUCKs!

So far worst phone I ever had. You can cook using it if you take few pictures or listen to music a bit longer. Sony did the same trick as early chinese manufactureres and write google over their own system parts making both unusable. Both google and services with its functions work like coal fueled steam engine: slow and burning hot. Not to mention it ''clean'' android is pretty much just google without possibility of turning any of this off. Only rooted with new Lineage build makes it usable. Other wise its better just to buy a camera and some other, functional phone. And of cause dont forget the price!!!:D ps. If I didnt manage to root it and instal some usable system its for sale...
