All 3 cameras looks identical & by checking his previous videos, looks like a fake comparison. Theres no way all phones looks way identical results lol.

But there is always HDR toggle that does what you cherrish the most.

https://youtu.be/Htz4u9LCJU8Yup, looks like Sony nails it this time on the stabilization, literally the best on low light recording with no jittery effects. So best stick with 1080p, i dont mind with that.
The other aspects on Xperia 1 camera still remains a mystery.

battery only 3330 mAh ... Hi Hi Hi horrible
worst phone
main disadvantage of sony mobile - poor battery capacity.
6.5 inch display + 4500 mAh is just ok

What about the LG G and V lines? Almost every HTC with a jack in the past, the M8,M9,10... A bunch of Vivo and and Meizu phones with dedicated DAC and amp. I thought you would be some kind of harrrdcore audiophile but then you mention bluetooth. Aptx or not, I would take the headphone jack over those overpriced bluetooth headphones with high latency any day. Not to mention most bluetooth headphones are created for hipsters with fancy styling, audio quality is not their priority. All the well known audio companies are still producing wired headphones like this no-jack trend never happened. Bluetooth is still is far away from being taken seriously buddy.

Lets wait and see the battery life with only 3330 mh battery.

Anonymous, 29 May 2019I don't get it, they market it as a phone with a great screen for watching films, but they don... morewhile 3.5mm is convenient, literally all phones with 3.5mm has very average sound quality ( apart from onkyo dp-cmx1) the dac and amp is designed not for sound quality, on the other hand, with aptx hd, bluetooth 5 (depend which headphones) or ldac, it simply sounds better than 3.5mm on literally all phones
on the other hand, if sony made an audiophile phone using their walkman tech, it will sound awesome,

I don't get it, they market it as a phone with a great screen for watching films, but they don't fit it with a deahphone jack? And yet charge a very premium price for it?
As much as I admire the design of it (no "notch"!!!) as well as the potent screen, I'm sorry, Sony. For this price, and for this kind of phone, the omission of a headphone jack is a huge deal breaker.

I am contemplating for a superior camera performance this time from Sony, especially in this area exposure balance, where for me it is the only place where Sony been struggling hopefully they nailed it this time or it would be a bummer.

Now xperia is only available in Japan, Europe, Taiwan, Hong Kong, USA.

Anonymous, 28 May 2019Haters are jealous because the module was made by Zeiss not just branded like we see on HMD an... moreU can be a fan, just dont be a blind one. Sure Xperia 1 using Zeiss lens now instead of their old G Lens.
But Huawei flagship phones using Leica lens 'Vario-Summilux-H' for a very long time now. Thats why they produce sharp images.
Even Nokia use Zeiss lens on most of its mid range & flagship phones. Earlier than this Xperia 1 does.
Learn more before make any statement.

Anonymous, 26 May 2019Backlit means auto HDR to you ? ... hahaha, you are joking, right ?Backlit Scene is the HDR of Auto mode.
But it activates when devices judges necessary.
Phone usually gives preference to Landscape if bush or tree is detected.
