They should do that stuff in a timely manner the way EVERYONE else. This delayed release sh*t is the worst! I've ALREADY seen ppl online admit they wanted the X1, but instead went and bought the S10+ because they got TIRED of waiting. Two months should be the MAXIMUM waiting period for a phone after being launched.
The whole point of selling phones is to make money. But when you wear out your customers' patience by keeping them waiting too long, you're NOT gonna make as much of a profit, and therefore everyone loses out, but ESPECIALLY Sony.

Why Huawei too RUSHing to launch a unfinished phone? Can you explain?
The MWC Sony show up the new technology for the Xperia 1, the launching date is the finalised product means before launching they can hear the comsumer feedback and have time to do the optimisation, I think it is a better solution than RUSHing like a mess.

The X1 should be coming out within a month or less as they said Late May for global release.

You can watch it from one of the videos shared by someone here. Back when sony were still successful company, people often said "why sony devices are always overpriced", but the old sony ceo said "we are selling gold".
Now sony's competitors can sell good quality phones (even with more features) and with more affordable prices. Customers leave sony and find happiness with the other brands. That's why sony's profit is always shrinking.

So they rush it, the device is not ready yet, they still make some revision.

They lac... moreFor now their skills is only raising the number, and applying their tech from other division. 2K, 4K, 8K, or 48 mp, 60mp, 100mp, 480, 960, 1920fps. Underdisplay fp require huge money to develop, for hardware and software, unlike screen they can just order it applying their tv tech, android already has all the software support.

Since Sony realise xperia 1 has been 3 months,so snapdragon 855 is old now,when soon other company's like Samsung will come out with snapdragon 865.I don't think Sony will do ok with selling the xperia 1.I always use latest Sony phones but in 3 months time IPhone 11 is out,and Sony hasn't realise the phone yet.Sony is loosing costumers working like that.

Ok so I guess the Xperia 1 Pro claim was total BS. Oh well. I prefer a SIDE FS over an on-screen one anyway. I have the OnePlus 6T, and to me a side FS is just so much better because of WHERE it is placed...............in the spot where my index finger NATURALLY rests anyway!

Are you dreaming? That is impossible. Sony can't afford to develop such device. They lack manpower and technical expertise to do that.
