Nikjosh, 15 Mar 20198 and 12GB RAM for $1000, thus make it needlessly expensive. 6GB RAM for $1000. Its a CHEAT.. You're glossing over the fact that the Xperia 1 has a a much higher resolution OLED than the rest of the competition. That component isn't cheap. So the price balances itself out. The price still isn't comfirmed yet, anyway.

But if it happen, we know what sony will do.

Those numbers are basically for bragging rights, and thus makes it needlessly expensive. Android doesn't even have the optimization to intelligently utilize and manage 12GB of memory. Heck, it has a difficult enough time just trying to manage tons of background apps running on phones with 8GB of memory. It'll force close some before it even approaches that limit due to other resource limitations. 6GB seems to be about the right amount that current versions of Android (and phone processing hardware) can properly use.

plus, its another battery consumption.
a 1 tigs storage? no wonder its over 1000 usd. delete the apps you don't use and clear the cache.

To me wireless reverse charging is a gimmick for now, that isn't make better job compared to power bank, it share the phone's battery when you always using the phone and the capacity is very limited unless it has 10000mah with ultra fast 10.1A PD charging technology in the future.

I love how narrow it is! It'll fit my tiny hand perfectly, while leaving enough space for both keyboard and text on the screen. BUT the price is horrific :(

ANYTHING is better than a NOtch!
Deal with it! There are people like me who would NEVER use a NOtch phone as a gift, not to mention pay for it. BLEAH!

Anonymous, 14 Mar 2019Again, those defective Huawei displays were manufactured by BoE and NOT LG. You are the wrong one. The Mate 20 Pro comes with 2 different displays (LG & BOE). The defective ones were from LG & the flawless ones were from BOE. You can easily find this info on credible websites.
Do your research better next time.

The Mate 20 Pro displays with defects were the ones manufactured by BoE, not LG. LG's phone OLED panels have improved a lot from the V30/Pixel 2XL days. Just FYI, even the XZ3 used an LG OLED panel.

Why call it 4j when it's not even close? It's not even UHD.
It is a very nice resolution, just don't call it what it's not.
