The design is extremely long and ugly. wouldn't want it if it's free. Consumers care mostly is the look and design of a phone. This is where sony has been messing up. and no, i'm not a samsung fan! lol

But in reality most of those sonyfan... morereally? that's sad... i also dont buy xperia much as a huawei fan buy huaweis... because im still stucked with z1c and z5p... it's my answer to people who argue that we should buy "cheap price" phones, by buying a phone that is considered by many as expensive, yet performs great even after years of usage...

I've met many sonyfans who often said "i will buy the latest xperia soon". But when they really need new phones they endup buying xiaomi, or samsung if they are rich enough. And now they still say "i love sony".

[deleted post]So funny. I never have Sony phone. I'm not a fan of Sony. I just see that they made a good one. I can't ignore it. I think I'll buy this. I owned iPhones, Samsung Galaxys, HTC phones, OnePlus phones. I still have HTC u11 and u12+. My current phone is 6t. So I tried so many phones, so don't tell me ... I had s7 edge and s8+, I couldn't use it with one hand. It's so stupid curved display. I hate that in Samsung, plus it's going slower in time, not like OnePlus. I do like 6t, but I like to have latest flagship in my hand. Good luck

Chinese phone is chinese phone..will never re... moreI agree. I owned a huawei phone, gosh i always hate the name it is so chinese. I always hide my phone from my friend. The phone itself is great, i gave it to my nephew since its kitkat and no custom rom availabe. Its now 4 years and two month and it still works just cant read simcard after flashing.
I think if mate 20 pro is an xperia or nokia it will be 10 times more premium.

I agree with you.
But in reality most of those sonyfans dont actually buy xperia. I've met many people who said the love sony, but they actually use galaxy, iphone, even xiaomi. None of them use xperia.
So sonyfans can only defend but they never support sony by buying new xperias.
