On this side you can read alot of negative comments about the Xperia 1 which in my opinion is best of them all i like the new design and what it has to offer for the enduser short of all i will buy the Xperia 1 as soone as it get release in june i dont care of the high pricetag it will be my last phone for the next 2 years this is anyway just a blody race whoe has the best mobilephone just for to show of iam sick of that

You know
1920x1080 is FHD
2160x1080 is FHD+
3840x2160 is 4K
This phone 4K screen has much less pixel than 4K. So 3840x1644 should be called 4K- or Fake 4K or Cheating 4K
Fair enough?

It has kinda become as standard. coz it was hard for people to say 3.8K which is so close to 4K. why is it right to call a 1960 cc as a 2 L engine then???? and its not sony who brought this standard all the 4k screen in the world, even tvs are advertised that way.

It's hard to believe people don't understand such a small thing which a 5th grade would understand. The phones you are talking about have a 5.5" screen and this one has a 6.5"!!! So, for you a 60" 4k tv isn't 4k coz it packs around 70 ppi and you think it should be 800 ppi or may be 8000?

i love this new sony phone its very very nice, the only bad its the battery why not 4000mah come on sony dont half do things, other than that its a great device, thumbs up.

thing is xz premium all android and everything originally is in 4K resolution thats insane

But xiaomi recenly also get in to innovation with mix series, they target all market, with very specific phone, they make feature packed phone, they also make gaming phone, they innovate they try to intrepetate feature and bring it to consumer, we know this tree is making foldable phone.
Oneplus is direct competitor of sony and pixel. All we can expect is SoC upgrade only. Never make unique phone. Never innovate. Their market is young who only need performance. This market is so small. Their phone is also unspesified, not a gaming phone, also not feature rich phone. They will never make big sales. Bcz young who only need performance mostly dont have money, the rich one is also tempted to gaming specified phone.
For LG yes they innovate, but always run into wrong direction.

Now people trust huawei bcz they pro... moreYes, us Xperia users do want some of those stuff, but say for example, why didn't OnePlus be at the top when it's so cheap and powerful? They put little to no money in advertising. If you ask someone if they heard of the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, they'd say they did. But if you ask someone about the OnePlus 6T, chances are, they didn't. Gimmicky things do not make a phone to the top. Take a look at LG, HTC and Xiaomi. Are they at the top?....... That's what I thought.

4K by definition means that there are approximately 4000 pixels on the horizontal side on a smartphone while using it in landscape
3840 is approximately 4000. Im sorry if it makes you mad but it is 4k

Fake 4k ads...... Pretty much same or close as Samsungs amoled panels. If you want true 4k go for the XZ Premium/Z5 Premium/XZ2 Premium. Those have 8++ ppi/2kkk x 3kkk resolution.
