Who needs an expensive phone filled with junk apps? If you are not too fussed, this is a great phone. It could come with an easy to access torch option though.

SL Guy, 17 Feb 2024I also noted this recently. These videos don't look natural anymore with the lag. Will So... morePhone is already end of life/support so will no longer get Software Security Updates/Upgrades otherwise go custom rom.
Sony only gave 2 major OS upgrade/3 year security update during that time not sure now if it is still the same considering Samsung & others have increased software support for new phones coming out.

In december mine will make it to its third birthday, so far so good. It is working as fast as the first day.
Only problem for me is that every now and then Sony realises huge software upgrades which are mandatory.

Anonymous, 09 Sep 2023Should i buy this device, as my daily driver?Depends on it's price. It's a good phone but the 4gb ram and sd680 limits it really bad. You will experience some stutters when a lot of apps is open but other than that, it's still a decent phone.

The ONLY downfall of Xperia devices in time is the losing of water resistance because of getting too hot. Otherwise these devices are the fastest, the most reliable in time than any other competitor! Use HedgeCam and its camera would feel great difference. Also Google Greatness Cam 2.5 it's amazing for it. Cheers!

Is this good for long term use. I'm planning to buy a preowned device. Or should I go for the Xperia 5 by spending more money.

The only thing I found was disappointing is the 12mp camera which is down by half over the Xperia Z5 which was 24 MPs.
