It's also beneficial... morei'd gladly scroll more and give up split screen which i never use for a compact pocketable phone.
yeah you can do more in theory with a larger screen obviously but at this point it's infringing too much on portability and if it's stuff you don't make use of, well that's just adding insult to injury.

It's also beneficial when scrolling, you can read way more and also do split screen if you want to watch a video while texting. More vertical space isnt necessarily bad.

I don't trust Chinese brand anymore.. Its my 3rd mobile in 2 years while my sony usually lasts for more than 3 years.. So I'm going to risk by buying sony again.. I have ask one of my friend studying in europe to get one for me.. Btw I'm from india and if something went wrong I'll have to just regret it.

I use this phone about one week ,good size ,good screen ,good battery life for 1 day, poor camera ,but for general use its ok .mi previous phone Sony Xperia xz2

And software is very good on this phone. Thats why sony sell not for cheap. Zero lag with snap 665, super smooth.

And lg g8s are more than one year older, and if you care updates, then software and security updates will be supported more time in sony phone. If you buy just for camera then lg g8s.

The Xperia 10 II is lacking audio settings, there's simply no EQ, it's gone on Android 10 OS! ( not sure about OS9).

The Xperia 10 II does not work with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. It does however have USB-C PD fast charging compatibility.
