Kfav82, 15 Jun 2020No worries, let me know how you get on!@Kfav82 thats it ordered from gifgaff today hopefully it will turn up nice early in the morning was going to order from o2 but im not sure whether the software on the phone is o2's or just plain sony, also done what you said removed my payment card from my temp giffgaff account thanks again for the advice about that

Sony answered to my message i ask them if i should send back phone or wait for the update (low voice level in video record).
They said: better send phone back just in case...
I wait to first update if it doesnt fix it i send the phone back

Just remember once you have ordered your phone go back to your account settings and remove your payment method then that's all you have to do. I have put my giffgaff sim to one side and if I ever decide to use it I can then activate it and I will still have the original £10 I paid.

No way they finally have listed it strangely more expensive than others, and as I guessed with no deals.
Giff gaff was fine for me, if you order today before midnight you will get it tomorrow.

I pre-ordered the 10 ii to my wife and got it 2 weeks ago. Of course I started to play as my wife's focus point is its look and battery.
Anyway I've been quite positevely surprised as did not expect so mature devise.
The display is fantastic, plenty of natural colors and gamut, it's visible in the direct sun so it's pleasure to use it...as I do not like artificial, oversaturated colors...The performance for daily, not heavy use, is more than acceptable, quick restart, smooth operations so no complaint at all. audio is very nice, the speaker (on bottom of th ephone) is quite nice and loud. The battery is very good, as my wife uses even for 3 days without charging..so it's pretty good...Build is very good, Gorilla glass 6 on both sides, plastic frame is narrow so easy to grip and hold, very ncie is multi window app so you can use YT and message for example at the same time...as for me it's annoying that whenever I shwitch YT to another app I loose it...now it's working perferctly on screen and parallely can do anything else...1 hand mode is quite convenient and easy to reach to even top icon...and which is most important that my wife says it very elegant, no nothc nor hole and easy to recognice it's unique design epsecilly compering to her friends'...heheh fully recommend this device...xperia 10 ii

Upgrading from Honor 9 with which i have many issues, it's basically dead since i can't turn it on anymore and it doesn't charge anymore (but it gets detected on PC).

They are fully unlocked from giff gaff so will be fine. I was worried about ordering at first but so glad I did in the end. I noticed that O2 changed the price on the PAYG page to £319 for the 10 a few weeks ago so wondering if that's going to be the price anyway. There isn't any money to be made selling phone only and as can be seen from the other network offerings the headphone and speakers seem to only be on contract. Let me know if you wanna know anything else

I have got used to the height now in fact my x compact screen is tiny in comparison. The quality of the screen is fantastic. When you get the phone search on YouTube for 4k 21:9 videos and it's like watching your flatscreen TV in your hand. Battery on 56% was charged 13 hours ago and have got screen time of 3 hours 40 and was using playing music for over half an hour so can't complain about the battery at all. The speaker is absolutely fine that's the only thing I was worried about. Mobile speakers are never great anyway but it's certainly loud enough. Sony have removed the equaliser and clear bass settings from the music player. If you download Sony music centre from the play store that player has them if it's something you used in the past. To be honest I have played the same song on both players via wired headphones and there isn't that much difference.
As for O2, they got a bit protective on that forum saying I should have waited but if you look at Virgin and Vodafone the speaker/headphone deals are only on contract at inflated contract prices. Even the 1 II on O2 deal is only on contract and it's not currently offered on PAYG. I have a good deal O2 sim so just wanted a handset. If you order from giffgaff you have to buy a goodybag sim. I chose the £10 one. Once you get it don't activate it at all. I then removed my payment details from my giffgaff account page and that's it, the payment won't renew each month. If you Google buying a giff gaff handset it points you to their forums where their own staff even explain it in detail. It's next day delivery for free which my phone arrived at 930am

just as i said before both microphone are working properly only in video is a problem.

Unfortunatelly in my case its look like software problem.
I dont use cover or nothing else.
I try fix software option, wipe, install another camera app, turn on phone in safe mode and results are practcally the same (video recorded in safe mode were a little bit louder).
I make service tests and both mic works properly. When i make voice call on loudspeaker or making voice record its loud and clear. Problem appear only in videos (and i cannot pass the microphone and speaker test in technicall support app (on a board).
I wrote to sony and they said to me only to make a fix option in Xperia companion.. I wrote that i done this firstly and nothing was changed. And still i donr have answer.
so i wait for any software update and hope that fix this issue.
