This phone is absolute garbage...
It is not compact at all just really narrow and tall making it a real nightmare to type messages where due to very narrow screen you keep hitting wrong letters of on screen keyboard where even auto correction is struggling to constantly fix up your messages. The display is complete rubbish, again too narrow where watching a video is pathetic because you get this tiny strip of display. Many games do not fit correctly due to this strange aspect ration where parts of game are cut off and you cannot see menu buttons or parts of controls, many other apps just have part of display empty as they don't fot with this display properly. The sound is really thinny, the camera not great, and the phones body feels like sticky plastic. Honestly how could have this design been approved? I'm glad I ordered a different brand with proper wide screen as this narrow pathetic display gives nothing but headache and eye strain.

This phone audio settings are just pathetic! there is nothing, the equalizers are very hard to manipulate (touch settings are just faulty), the audio settings of the Xperia XZ1 Compact are way superior. Bought one, put it on sell the same day.

I bought this phone few months ago and actually the phone is very fine. I dont know where the hate comments are coming from. its good as a substitute daily driver. It depends on how you use it.

it is not water resistent . I have this phone since 2020 , this week i say to try that water resistent but it broke , now i have to change the display :( otherways it worked fine till now

It's either the S10e or the Xperia 10 II.
Choose the Xperia for:
- Slightly better battery life.
- Stockish android.
- Cinematic aspect ratio (all these are optional though)
The S10e for:
- Better performance
- More compact build
- Slightly better camera (main and ultrawide)
- Customisation UI (optional though)
- Higher storage options.
- It's cheaper
All in all, the S10e Is the better option (except you dont like "ONE UI" Which is optional)

If not do that first after logging out accounts/removing locks & backing up files to sdcard, then observe if it still happens.

The phone is on android 12 and it only happens during video calls
Please I am waiting for response to know if the device is defective so that I could return it ontime.
