i really like the look and specs of this phone but not sure when the release date in the UK will be or the price of the phone. will probably be delayed due to the worldwide situation.

They were talking about 1080p gaming - the GPU of the Snapdragon 820 (Adreno 530) is simply much faster than the GPU from the Snapdragon 630 (Adreno 610) - it's actually about 40-100% faster.

Snapdragon 665 for that price tag? No thanks. They should at least wait for the snapdragon 765. Then it will be worth the price.

The fact that this phone has IP68 rating and FM Radio alongside microSD card slot, audio jack and USB On-The-Go made it an absolute compelling midrange smartphone. If the X10 ii priced about the same as the X10, I will definitely consider buying one.

I don't play games and don't care if it doesn't have 700 series chipset
I care about build quality, good screen, waterproofing, sound quality, software and this phone gives me all that for acceptable price.

Snapdragon 665 is not enough for a full HD display if u r going to game on it. Say- asphault 9, pubg, rr3 or anything demanding are not gonna play well. They should have gone for the 712 or 730. Simply twice the graphics. That would have made for twice the better frame rate, literally.

I wonder if they fixed the buttons, the xperia 10 and 10 plus had such crappy volume and power buttons, they wele like recessed into the cover making that hard to press with almost no tactile feel

And certainly, with premium speced oled screen, gorilla glass 6 and ip 68 rating, along with premium sound enhancements, its got its value added and is not overpriced at all...
Its in line what midrange Xiaomi, Huawei or Samsung for ex offer for same pricing.

Anonymous, 01 Mar 2020For that price it should come at least with 765G and WIFI 6Fot the price of this Xperia 10 II you can expect the 765G in phones only from companies with low profit margine (around 10% or even less, where the others having ~50%). That's a huge profit margine difference. It's not fair to compare those very different businesses with brands such is Realme and Xiaomi.
It seems those brands spoiled many consumers to think everyone else (western bussineses) are overpriced, when in reallity Xiaomi and Realme are designed with totally different business aproach than others and that's the main reason why are they so cheap.
But that will change soon as they can't do that model forever. Business is business... and they will sooner or later be on western model as on that model whole world is made.
If you think Xiaomi or Realme gives you something for a less amount of money because they are good, honnest and not greedy like other companies than you are living in your own bubble of deception.
Business is business.

Davy Jones, 15 Mar 2020It has metal frame but the antenna line are on the top and bottomIts mosy probably metal covered with polycarbonate, or polycarbonate. Have it on my X Performance, and its extremely durable, acts like hardened rubber.... drop it, it ll just get superficial scars. And has no outer anntena lines susceptable to damage.
I prefer it over any metal frame myself.

I'm ether making this or Xperia 5 my new phone. The latter is 520euro currently in my country, despite not having a jack I'll buy it if Xperia 10 II is over 400euro. I wish it would come out already
