What I mean by that is, I would buy from a company that will deliver a fairly good product at a good price. And I will stay away or complain about a company that will not do that.
In this particular case, Sony.
Of course, if anybody is a Sony fan, he/she can't be impartial and will try to defend Sony. And will try to increase the value or importance of a product by finding little things (like, OMG it has OLED panel of course it should cost 400 euro, or OMG it has IP rating, of course it should cost 400 euro, etc.).
As an impartial person, you don't care if it's Sony, Samsung, Apple etc., you care what value that device brings to the table and how it compares to the competition. At this time, I can safely say, that I could buy an almost same phone from other manufacturer with 200-250 euro. And that is why I am angry at Sony mobile division.
Why Sony can't do what they did with PS4 at launch, when they sent Microsoft home? Or what they did with some headphones, that are really great value for money? Not to mention I have a Sony TV Bravia from 2010, it beats a lot of the current generation TV's at image quality.
So yeah, this is why I am angry with Sony and I will definitely not buy their phones in the near future.

You don't live in Europe don't you?
370 euro is an informative price, most certainly in countries that don't have euro as their national money this price will be increase.
Example: 370 euro = 9400 CZK (Czech Korunas). Most certainly in stores, when this phone will appear, it will cost 10000 CZK, even a little bit more. 10000 CZK = 395 euro.
The same thing is for each country in Europe without euro money. (Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Denmark, etc.).
That is why I said 400 euro.

Samsung went wrong with plastic bodies in 2019 (yes they call it glastic, but its still plastic) and sadly there is still no choice in 2020 to get anything bellow 600,- euro in alu/glass body (even Note10 light, S10 light have plastic bodies) Few years ago theee were lowrange J series in metal body, today the full A series are plastic...
Welcome Sony, challenge for Samsung user accepted ;-)

More than fanboy here there are 70% hater of sony brand.. I used many brand and i found sony, samsung are great mobile but i have never used iphone so can say much about them.

Everything about this phone seems really good but for the price it's asking for, it gets destroyed by a lot of other brands. Hopefully the price is lowered before release.

Expensive as this might be for a midrange, we all have to admit that at least Sony is trying to keep up with everyone else. Design looks good, and specs arent bad either. It only needs a lower price and this could be solid options.

In many ways Sony fanboys are the same like Apple fanboys. They don't care about the phone specs or price, they just go and buy it because they like the company.
I like Sony too and I had many of their products (consoles, cameras, phones, headphones, even DVD player or sound systems), but I like my money more. And Sony mobile division is just 0 for me right now. High prices average phones (at best).

Even though, OLED screens nowadays are not so "wow". I mean, Samsung A40 has an OLED screen and it cost around 250 euro at launch? Now is even cheaper.

Processor: SND 665 is one the latest processors in Qualcomm's 6XX line and is less than 1 year old. They could have put 730 or 765, but 665 is also very power efficient and covers every day tasks very good.
Battery: everyone knows about Xperia 5 tiny 3140 mAh battery and how long it lasts, giving respectable 96 hours in endurance rating. And Xperia 10 II has 3600 mAh battery, also has OLED display (which is even smaller than one on Xperia 5), energy efficient processor. I guess endurance rating will be well above 100 hours. I think it's a very good result.
Camera: nothing can be said about it yet, but specs look quite impressive anyway. Plus also features 10 FPS burst shooting and Night mode.
On top of all that you receive 128 GB storage, quality materials with CGG6 and IP65/IP68. I think these specs are very good for price they ask - 370EUR/400USD.

Or why don't they plant in China although they might be have like ex TV plant of Sony.. China is a country with next level of technology living and Chinese lead their life so expensively.. So if you're concerned for low labour cost,, it utterly refers to all 3rd countries. Not China at all. What makes the difference of living costs is inflation rate between countries.. And therefore all raw materials can be found in China easier than any other countries..

Xperia 10 last year was a huge letdown, this year Sony went 1000 steps ahead the Mark is a massive upgrade over last year.
