Talking about Hypercars and singers. OMG, just do some google research.
Sony dropped out of numerous countries as the populace chose better brands. Overpriced, unstable Sony phones with no support or warranty was a failure. It’s as simple as that. The competition has almost eliminated Sony from the market as Sony just doesn’t understand basic business principles.
You have convinced yourself, but overall, you have lost this argument.

It's simply not popular due to its numerous past fail... moreSigh, you're being stubborn here just because fluctuating is Sony doing in the Mobile division. Fine, the Xperia Z-era and XZ-era were leaning to a mainstream market, though the niche elements were there. But Xperia 1 II & Xperia Pro? No chance at all, not even a sliver, as both phones cater to professionals, broadcasters, photo & video enthusiasts, content creators (both 1 II & Pro) which are niche, as people nowadays want the software to their job, not themselves. Those who bought the Samsung, iPhones, or Chinese OEMs such as Xiaomi or BBK Group one like OnePlus/Oppo, won't buy this phone, as 1 II/Pro & other are seeing a stark difference, just from the paper & software...

Pagani Huayra R is a track-only hypercar that only produced 30 units worldwide and it's a super-niche (hyper)car that meant for racing on the racetrack and has a V12 naturally aspirated engine, and Pagani insists on building their hypercar until now, despite most car manufacturer has lean-to making SUV and electric cars these days. Sure, Pagani has confirmed to built an SUV also, but their main product still and will be their V12 hypercars. Those who buy Tesla Model S/3/X/Y or Tesla Roadster or mainstream SUV such as F-150, Silverado, or Tacoma won't buy a Pagani Huayra R. Their caters are already different!
2.) Taylor Swift despite having a household name, haven't touched the rap genre, and rap is the genre that's dominating the music industry right now, but alternative or indie genre on her latest two albums (folklore & evermore) that meant for a quarantine-themed album for easy listening during this hard times, and the alt-indie genre is a niche genre in the music industry, and only a few of them are playing on that field, one of them is Lana Del Rey & Lorde. Those who listen to raps mostly don't hear alternative music that often.

If the limited markets bring more success, cash, and revenue., that's not a failure. If drop from the Top 10, but you're popular in the segment you're targeting in the first place, that's not a failure. If the past failures made Sony Xperia more careful and appealing again by keeping the features that most OEMs don't even bother bringing back or serving it, then that's not a failure too. You're losing your argument and it saw. Talk to me if you're not anonymous anymore. Sigh...
