Reduce, it does not get rid of it.
Try do do burst with S20 Ultra or Mi 10.
Even with HDR off, I highly doubt more than 20% will be in focus.
With HdR on, will be worse.
It is like you take a photo using 1/2000s and another of 1/800s.
You cannot avoid blur.

Specs looks great, I hope battery will last longer than previous models (xperia5). Sony makes the best quality phones, screens, built quality is perfect

Other phones force auto HDR, using the HDR+ trick.
HDR+ has to be used with static subject only to avoid ghosting.
Sony cameras (alpha and cybershot) have DRO (lift shadows but has more noise) and HDR (image stacking, not recommended for moving subject).
Photo Pro will have these two options.
If 99,9% use only auto, why Samsung, LG, OnePlus, Huawei, Vivo, oppo , xiaomi bother to make manual mode instead of only having auto like Apple and Google?
Oh, it is because they know auto is inferior than manual.

Dont you think Sony knows that?
This is what they told Android Authority in 2018 , when asked if XZP had 120Hz screen.

Only Sony fanboys are interested in manual mode, because Sony has failed miserably in auto mode. Been hearing these excuses for years from Sony fanboys.

Is it you Pro, 23 Mar 2020Samsung and the other sony's competitors can easily make 4k if they want, since xperia's scree... moreMy opinion about fold phone, it is not ready yet, more are the marketing than pratical, because the full sized smartphone can get better spec and tech then fold and foldphone is thicker, heavier, pricey and more fragile than a full sized smartphone. Even a not famous China OEM can making a 3 layer foldphone, so it doesn't need more R&D, it just need better material of use and techs, it isn't on the right time and looks like a weaker than full sized phone, but only it can fold...

Ank, 27 Mar 2020The Sony IMX557 sensor will be exclusive only for this phoneThe problem with Sony is not the camera hardware, but their jpeg processing which has always been poor, though better with X1 so I hope they continued with the X1 II in terms of not so over processed IQ, will wait for a few reviews and see. If they get the jpeg processing right they could have a winner, as text of phone is awesome.

Anyways, if you were thinking idiot grade camera auto algorithms, yes it will get the night mode, but they should also do autoHDR out of the box in their main camera app, for those always complaining lowest common denominator users.
But what I consider serious camera software here is Alpha grade PhotoPro and CineAlta grade CinemaPro.
But thats only camera part of this phone.
I myself am more interested in screen and audio hardware and software here, which is very, very impressive.

I have OnePlus devices since OnePlus 3. So I know OnePlus is faster than Samsung, or Google pixel or HTC (I still have U12+) in real life. That's why we don't see oppo, Huawei, vivo or xiaomi in USA. But after I got Xperia 1 (my first Sony ever), I do really want xperia 1 II. The screen is amazing, nice ratio, it's just superb flagship for now
