No punch holes or notch... The utilisation of full display with no interruption.

Every tech company has their own paradigm. You can't blame one for adopting this or praise one for doing that. The smartphone market is richer than ever, just get a phone that suits you. I always buy xperia cause I wanna stand out.

You mean the dedicated shutter camera button only on Sony phones that nobody uses as it causes shake and blur in the photos ? Thats why Sony has dropped this useless feature.
Gsmarena did a comparison between Sony and Samsung about 2 years ago about the
960 fps super slow motion feature. Samsung clearly won due to more functions and the awesome auto mode. Sony has fixed focus which cause more errors that correct shots.
Sit back and wait a few years for a foldable phone from Sony. It will probably have giant bezels also...hahaha

On the other ha... more100% correct. Competitors realize that 4K on a phone is useless and just a sales gimmick. The proof is that LG and Samsung produce the 4k Oled screens for Sony, but are smart enough and sensible enough not to offer 4K on their phones.
The general public know 4k is useless and for this reason and hundreds of other reasons are not interested in Sony phones. Sony's disastrous history of failures in mobile phones is well known and documented. In all honesty, its all too late for Sony. Stick to Playstations and camera sensors where your actually making some money.

Aspect ratio other than standard... moreMillions of people around the world love curved screens, as it looks cool and does have some functions. Majority of flagship owners hate bezels in 2019/20. Only Sony fanboys are living in 2016 design with giant bezels. Give me a beautiful full screen display over any obsolete giant bezel display anyday.

So... moreWrong. Sony simply doesn't have the R&D for foldable phones. Sony doesn't even make Oled screens, Ram, chipsets, Motherboards etc. Sony is years behind on this foldable phone topic, if not decades.
Maybe LG or Samsung could make a foldable phone for Sony, since Sony already uses LG and Samsung screens. Then you fanboys can say how great Sonys foldable phone is.....hahaha

except maybe the last L that has notch...
fold is good, but it is not better than 4k hdr display including the soft and hard tech that is in there...

On the other ha... moreCompetitors can easily make a super convenient dedicated shutter camera button also, heck, even front facing stereospeakers for better leveled sound, but for the last 8 yrs they just obviously dont know how to do it.
Well, at least some of them figured out how to do two speakers for stereo, 4/5 yrs after HTC and Sony did. So there is still hope for them.

OLED still suffers burin.
Aspect ratio other than standardized most common 16:9, rarely used 18:9, or cinematic 21:9 is useless.
But most useless thing on mobile today is without a doubt a camera notch or bhole intruder on screen.

Sony will only play... moreIm sure you were one of them people claiming it didnt matter if Samsungs 960 fps super slo mo feature was only second and lower res, because it was better implemented... yes?
Anyways, foldable screen is not the future of mobile IMO, too much inconvenient, fragile, and expensive for mainstream consumer mobile products. And no proper solutions to their shortcommings in sight.
It will remain niche.
There will have to be some other future solution for foldable mobile idea other than physical oled screen substrate of today. Its just not plausible enough.

Sony publicizes Xperia for Entertainment and Music. 4K HDR in 21:9 aspect is not a Gimmick, that's how they distinguish from other noob Smartphones. Not the 16GB useless ram or 108 crap MP.
Plus sexy design without ugly,wide notches /ounchholes is extra Addition.
