Maybe. Please tell me what reference applies on someone disparate to bash a product, knowing that the promoting comments are all replies to the negative ones.
RishiGuru, 15 Jun 2020I am observing a strange pattern here. Its been a week since I last visited this thread and a ... moreNah, I don't think so. I think some or even quite a few new accounts are of old returning members who had to create new account as GSMArena decided to remove login support through Facebook. I have been here on this forum for almost a decade now but previously had Login through my Facebook account. But now as GSMArena had decided not to support that anymore I had to create new account.

But.. it is a very very bad way of promoting a product.
Because Most users doesnt read forums.
I havent seen any xperia promotions on tv and malls for many years.
Guff, 15 Jun 2020it has wireless charging. the only difference from normal and Pro seems to be the mini-HDMI in... moreJust out of curiosity, where did you find that out? I've looked through a number of places and I see nothing in regards to Qi charging for the Xperia Pro. I like the Pro better as it seems to have a better antenna, more memory, more durability, and might be worth the extra money.
The question is, did Sony finaly managed to make this phone right or it have some flaws.
RishiGuru, 15 Jun 2020I am observing a strange pattern here. Its been a week since I last visited this thread and a ... moreI don't believe Sony is that desperate, It's no Huawei/Honor that had many affairs with paid promotional reviews - right now fake reviews are flooding stores and user review sites for Honor MagicBook 15.
I kinda expect there will soon be another article mentioning this situation ... well if anyone even cares at this point.
BTW: There is a way to find out, how old the account on GSM is? O.o Or it's just observation based on number of post?

No offense to anyone.

Its been a week since I last visited this thread and a lot has been going on since. There are some users you are replying to in the last few pages that are born a month or so ago during Xperia 1 II launch period and posts only on this thread. This is very strange.
Are there paid promoters here? Hell no. Is this the reason why there are so many posts here on the first place? Then all comments from them are compromised. I have big doubts now.

I like the phone - decent specs. First Sony to get me interested since my Xperia Z1. Question about the Xperia 1 PRO coming out - will it have wireless charging? I don't see it in the specs (even though the Xperia 1ii has it). That might make it a deal breaker for me as opposed to the Xperia 1ii.

Sony Xperia 1 ii is the best smart phone in 2020, coz to me everything is perfect 💯

I OWN an XZ Premium with a so-called "4k screen" an... moreI never said it hogs battery like crazy. I have XZ Premium too. I notice the difference easily and for people who are not so sharp eyed can notice the difference in Browser or Chat or anything related text on plain background. Or be the icons on the screen.
XZ Premium is 3840x2160. Who said 16million pixels.

Would be nice to see results with forced 4K on Xperia 1 through.
So IMHO not accurate but fairly close. That's realy good example.

Xperia 1 has a 7.4% larger battery than the 5's, has 2.35 of the Xperia 5's total pixels.
The Xperia 1 has an endurance rating of 79h, Whereas the Xperia 5's is 96h or 21.5% longer than the 1.
Take all that into account, the Xperia 1 has 23% more power usage than the 5.
Is there anything wrong?

You clearly are not even reading what I am typing, because it's really simple and easy to understand, yet you still have some issue and trying to sway discusion into a personal opinion.
Read what is GSync or IPad Pro capable of, there are so many information available, even in simplyfied form.
AnonD-932544, 13 Jun 2020Well, yeah! From 1080p to 1440p.No it does not, it amount of pixels displayed is still the same. It's only rendering in lower resolution.
