Each of the pixel has generative one color and plenty of the Pixel with the richest colors can generate more realistic and high quality image!

Smithravi, 29 May 2020Maxes out at 370 nits by retaining decent colours and avoiding burn ins in long term. Good lu... moreStop excusing Sony for their faults. The OnePlus 8 Pro manages 880 nits of brightness and better color accuracy. Yes Green tint is a problem just like a phone only receiving 370 nits is a problem. The thing is OnePlus is fixing that problem while with the Sony phone it's like that forever. I'm a OnePlus diehard but even I will admit when OnePlus makes a mistake (like with the fixeable green tint issue) y'all Sony Stan's need to learn to do that.

So ummmmmmm Alpha Team where are u ? i mean Quote what GSM Arena said.....In Europe, €1200 gets you a Galaxy S20 Ultra and that has its advantages over the Xperia. A 120Hz display is among those as is the faster charging. The Ultra's telephoto has more reach than the Xperia's, if that's your thing, though we'd call an overall camera comparison between the two a draw (with a nod to the Galaxy for selfie capabilities). The Xperia counters with a headphone jack and compactness that the Ultra doesn't remotely aspire to.....So we all know the s20ultra has issues with camera and u still can beat it (As per GSM Arena) i mean the s20+ has better screen again as per GSM Arena (The S20+ is what you can get for Xperia money in the States, while in the EU, it comes cheaper. That one mostly matches the Xperia for size and weight, so the pocketability argument goes out the door. The Xperia remains your choice if you want to drive older wired headphones, while the Galaxy can be your door to the realm of HRR displays.) Charging is slower than most.Selfie cam has limited DR, no AF and no 4K recording and only bring 8gb of ram and 256 storage .....Ohhhh remeber im just using gsm arena quotes these are the pros......The Sony Xperia 1 II has gotten a battery upgrade compared to the previous generation. Even so, with a 4,000mAh powerpack inside it's on the low end of the spectrum on today's flagship scene. The Huawei P40 Pro is the next lowest capacity at 4,200mAh, the Find X2 Pro's battery is marginally bigger at 4,260mAh, while the Mi 10 Pro and OnePlus 8 Pro are in the 4,500mAh ballpark. Admittedly, most of these have bigger displays, high-refresh rate too, though the Xperia does have the highest resolution.WTF am i getting for $1200.00 ?????????Same screen from last year 2gb of ram extra 128 storage slightly bigger bat and ohhhhhhhtheyh added the wireless charging they took from xperia1 i mean really sony .....Everyone was talking trash about the samsung cameras and this new device from sony (Alpha team) cant beat it still shoots dark photos and still does not show every detail and all people did was talk shit and this is the end product for $1200.00 REALLY SONY no 8k camera no 108mp camera and u still use 8mp selfie u want to rob me or u just giving up on mobile once and for all ?????

That's the main reason why I am looking for a camera-centric replacement for my Mate 20 which is non-Huawei brand as a result of Google ban. I used a Sony model before which was plagued by rebooting issue but with this new model I'll give it a try to switch back.

Another gaming review from TK Bay. This time on HS power control
              https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ol7yVXxFRd8

He did say it slightly/Partially charges (92%=>93% in around 30min) but keeps the temperatures about same.
Good for long gaming sessions without worrying about battery degradation. Pretty cool feature.

I'm just warning people who w... moreThen what is the point in shifting from 2340x1080 to 3200x1440. All brands should stick to lower resolution and simply throw in 144/165Hz or even 240Hz panels. There is a reason all brands are slowly moving up the resolution and refresh rate. Most brands trying different methods to achieve that. Not saying that faster refresh is bad as it is good. But not compulsory beyond a certain point as not many will notice(the same reasoning you gave applies here as well). You simply cannot say that refresh rate is superior. To be honest for majority around the world higher resolution is superior and what they care for as people would like watching at sharper and detailed screen rather that having way smoother transition which they take comparatively less use of. Let me ask you one simple question based on the following example, if a person is browsing stuff and searching for info how much does a person spend time reading the info on a static page in comparison to swiping the page. I think that answers your question as well.

Good luck with your green/grey flickering 120Hz display on OP/Samsung or whatever you using. No thanks.
Also Sony users know 4K since 2014. It is not a something we are dying to try. Sony users knew the difference. Only non-users say 4K ain't a difference.

Let me make this clear to all the Sony diehards in the comments. I'm just warning people who won't be able to make use of the slight difference you get in detail with 4k display (which is the vast majority of people). I'm not attacking the people who think 4K on a phone would change there life and would have multiple uses for it. For those people. Go ahead and buy this phone, no one is stopping you. However, for the vast majority, the display is simply inferior to competitors. It maxes out at 370 nits in manual and just isn't as smooth as the OnePluses, Samsungs, and iPhones of the world. Still a great phone in its own right nonetheless but not something I think most people would use to its full potential. : )

Last year I was very close to purchasing an Xperia 1 over my OnePlus 7 Pro. My next phone is either going to be a pixel, Oneplus, or Sony. I'm just pointing out that I think Sony should have focused on a more well-rounded display instead of aiming for the 4K spec. The display is dim and noticeable less smooth than competing phones. All for a resolution you won't notice. This phone excels in many other areas that made me interested it in the first place. Most notably camera and software. Is it illegal to just point out some flaws that people should look out for?

It is my opinion you don't reply to it or react to it in any way. I have used an Xperia 1 before and I could not see the difference between my OnePlus 7 Pro at 1440p. I highly doubt you even have an OnePlus 8 pro as few people would purchase a 1,000 phone then another 1,200 dollar phone a few months later. I'm honestly dumbfounded as to why I'm getting jumped in this comment section.

A person who has no intention of buying this phone is arguing with people who plan to buy the phone about what specs are most important for the phone they don't want. I don't go to car dealers as a convertible lover and complain that theres a roof on the SUV they are selling.

I do like OnePlus 8 Pro as a daily use phone. But I'm so excited about Xperia 1 mark II because it seems very nice flagship with one of the best camera setup. And I'm waiting for it and I'm going to buy it as soon it's available in US. I had Xperia 1 and loved it, but I gave it to my wife because it has low SAR level, which is hard to find in these days. Please watch what you say because you didn't even hold Xperia 1 mark II in your hands and you have no idea if it's good or bad phone.
