Sony Xperia 1 II goes on pre-order in the US and Europe
The Sony Xperia 1 II is now up on pre-order in the US through B&H and in the Netherlands through Belsimpel. Neither listing has a specific shipping date - the European listing has a vague 4 weeks estimate for online availability, which would mean June.
These pre-orders come two days before the Xperia 1 II goes on sale in Japan through carrier KDDI.
The Sony flagship costs €1,199 for its sole 8/256GB model in the Netherlands, but it does come bundled with a pair of Sony WH-1000XM3 wireless noise-cancelling headphones, normally worth €280 on their own. Last year the Xperia 1 also came with complimentary 1000XM3 cans.

There have been whispers of the Xperia 1 II going global at the end of May for months now. However with no shipping date on either listing, availability will likely be pushed to June.
