Shame it's not 148mm. It would be "perfect" then.

Sean, 29 Jan 2021Hi all anyone facing display issues with Android 11. there is a colour distortion or bleed ... moreYes, I get the same. But I am not sure its a screen issue. If you rotate the screen to the horizontal it is there as well.

Why they dropped fm radio?? I can't buy it just because missing that, as i need it and using it the most. This phone would be the most perfect phone ever made if they just didn't do that, and if they maybe put 5000mah battery(even better then lg v60 with samsung cameras in it and teardrop front face camera ugly)

Maybe radio can work with nextradio app, which activate fm chip from phone, which snapdr865 have it, if someone can try that?

JJ, 07 Jan 2021If your set overheats, there might be a problem with your device. It really doesn't overh... moreI'm a big Sony fan and a longtime Xperia user. I switched from iPhone 4S in 2013 and since then I've owned only Xperias. In chronological order: Xperia Z, Xperia Z3 Compact, Xperia X Compact and now an Xperia 10. I'm sorry to say they ALL overheated, without exception, so badly that usually the front and back panels fell apart. I even sent a letter once to Sony for complaining. I generally use my phones intensively, but only calls and business apps. No games, rarely YouTube. For example, they replaced 3x Z3 Compacts in the 2-year warranty period. Because of this heating, various hardware components fail: usually the mic but the Xperia 10 I'm using now has "ghost touch". Very annoying, I had the screen replaced last year put the problem persists. Besides, they all have very poor signal. So, they all have hardware problems and it's really a shame because I really like Sony philosophy (design/ tech/ pricing/ etc) but if durability is still gonna be an issue, I'll have to switch to iPhone 12. After 8 years of using Xperia...

Photo pro wise- I know every function and what it does as I am photographer myself, but this is mobile phone and I don't want to stand scrolling through the functions to get a decent photo. For that reason I have my proper camera. Sony could work more on native camera app and more decent HDR algorithm.
As for freezing- chrome browser froze twice writing this post.

Glad that your device works good and it does what you expect it to do, but in my case, I can't stop thinking that OnePlus 8 pro would've been way better purchase for basically the same price, with more frequent updates, full spectre of functions etc.

To someone who said that 21:9 screen is bull...- clearly you never used one before, because it is way more usable one handedly than every other brick out there, and you don't loose anything. This screen size was one of the biggest point why I got this phone in the first place.

I can concur on one of those points tho, the proximity sensor up front should be somewhat closer to earpiece, it does sometimes mess up the screen while Im making a phonecall due to its position.

Rest I dont have any nitpicks. All good.

Xperia 5 II is quite perfectly pocketable, just as my prior 5 inched screen smartphone was, and quite on the contrary a perfect match for one handed use coupled with above 6 inch screen sized phone.

I find this phone was a massive jump from the Redmi Note 7 I previously had. So much so it kind of reminded me what it was like to have your own phone again.

I've found this phone perfectly usable and just a major box ticker for me. I haven't even recieved any of these so called freezes too.

ISO and Shutterspeed are literally beginner photography terms which even I, a 16 year old can understand. Honestly I don't find the Photo Pro mode that scary.
